Tehachapi Police Department:
Sept. 6, 2013
5:43 a.m. Assault with a deadly weapon report taken at Tehachapi Hospital. Male subject had stab wound to the chest and bruising/swelling to the head. Disposition: Turned over. NOTE: California City Police Department case.
5:44 p.m. Auto accident with minor injuries occurred on Tucker Road. A 1991 silver Chevy Silverado is parked in the road, but the other car took off. Reporting party is stating she is disoriented. A small, beat-up white car hit her car and she spun out. Disposition: Assisted.
7:49 p.m. Suspicious circumstances at Coy Burnett Field in the north parking lot. Juveniles were looking in car windows. Disposition: Unable to locate.
8:58 p.m. Disturbing the peace at business on East Tehachapi Boulevard. Black male adult driving a green Explorer is upset over a charge to his credit card and is refusing to leave. Disposition: Gone on arrival.
Sept. 7, 2013
6:53 a.m. Follow up at business on West Tehachapi Boulevard. White male in his mid-20s, wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and black hat with a red bill, took a black bag from the bag of a customer's vehicle and then left. Disposition: Arrest made.
9:51 a.m. Missing juvenile report on Maple Street. Male, 15, left the residence last night at 10 without permission and has not returned. Disposition: Assignment completed.
10:27 a.m. Hit and run with property damage reported at Tehachapi Police Department. Vehicle was side-swiped by a black Jeep occupied by a young male driver. Victim's vehicle is a 2005 Toyota Tundra, dark blue in color. Disposition: Arrest made.
11:53 a.m. Fire on Cellini Court at residence. Grass fire. Disposition: Assisted.
7:41 p.m. Petty theft less than $400 at business on South Green Street. A phone was stolen from the office. Suspect is now walking on Pauley and reporting party is tracking the phone; describes the suspect as a hispanic male who has been drinking, short and wearing a gray shirt. Disposition: Situation resolved.
Sept. 8, 2013
12:29 a.m. Auto accident with minor injuries at South Mill Street/West "A" Street. Airbags deployed but medical aid was declined; silver Saturn versus a sedan. Disposition: Arrest made.
1:50 p.m. Grand theft of $400 or more on South Pauley Street. Theft of big screen TV reported stolen from residence; occurred sometime last night. Windows of residence were unlocked. Disposition: Advised.
6:48 p.m. Assault on Alder Avenue, just occurred. Reporting party's girlfriend punched him in the face - he declined medical aid. She was upset over recent breakup and being asked to move out. Disposition: Warning.
7:09 p.m. Out of control juvenile at Central Park. Six or seven Hispanic male juveniles on the north side of the park took beer out of the trash and are splashing it all over. Subjects were not seen drinking the beer. Disposition: Arrest made.
7:36 p.m. Petty theft less than $400 at business on Tucker Road. Theft of a cell phone happened about 20 minutes ago; unknown suspect. Reporting party standing by. Disposition: Information only.
Bear Valley Springs Police Department:
Sept. 6, 2013
12:20 p.m. Hit and run with injuries on Meadow Lakes Drive. Driver hit a juvenile while he was walking home. Driver was texting when the juvenile was hit. Female driver stopped and asked if he was OK, then drove away. Disposition: Report taken.
Sept. 7, 2013
1:01 p.m. Petty theft less than $400 on Knight Court; mail box theft. Disposition: Report taken.
Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation: Nothing reported.
Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.
California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

The rest of the week is forecasted to be mostly sunny, with highs in the mid-80s and a slight chance of thunderstorms both Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.

• Due to a lack of agenda items, the Tehachapi City Council will not hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 3, but will instead adjourn until Monday, Sept. 16, at 6 p.m. in the Beekay Theatre, 110 S. Green St. One item to be discussed is a proposed spending plan for funds received by the city under Government Code section 30061, the Supplemental Law Enforcement Services Fund.
• The Tehachapi Unified School Distrcit Board of Trustees will meet at 6 p.m. on Sept. 10, at the Claude Wells Education Center, 300 S. Robinson St.
• Directors of the Bear Valley Community Services District will meet at 6 p.m. on Sept. 12, at the CSD building, 28999 S. Lower Valley Road.
• A notice of adjournment has been issued for the Tuesday, Sept. 10, Airport Commission meeting. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 8 at the Pilot's Lounge, 314 N. Hayes St.
