The Latest News — The Tehachapi Unified School District met last night with discussion including the fact that new curriculum for upper grades to comply with federal mandates is complete and will be brought to the board soon; also discussed was whether students at Abernathy Charter School should be able to compete in Tehachapi High School athletics. Reporter Matt Martz will have a story soon on our website and in next week's print edition of the Tehachapi News.

13:29 SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE Occurred at S. Snyder Ave/E. "C" St, Tehachapi. Suspect white pick-up, possibly a Nissan Titan, was in area of the baseball diamond for 20 min and took off is north bound on Snyder. Vehicle
occupied by a single white male with brown hair, was talking on his phone and looking around suspiciously. Disposition: Unable to Locate.
15:06 SUSPICIOUS PERSON Occurred at McDonalds on Tucker Rd., Tehachapi. Male is walking into Mcdonalds/ was rude to reporting party's son and then used profanity with the reporting party. White Male approximately 50s short, average build wearing blue jacket, unknown color hat and carrying duffel bag. Disposition: Checks Ok.
