Sept. 20, 2013
1:52 p.m. Traffice stop at Brentwood Drive/Elm STreet. Disposition: Arrest made.
8:05 a.m. Vandalism reported at Bus Barn Transportation on East "H" Street. Tagging to the garage doors. Disposition: Report taken.
1:19 p.m. Vandalism against person or property of another on East Tehachapi Boulevard. Appears an attempted entry was done from the east side of the building. A window is open. Building still surrounded by chain link. Disposition: Unable to locate.
4:09 p.m. Reckless driving on Tucker Road. Vehicle was seen on Curry Street headed toward Tucker. Passed the reporting party on Curry, almost causing an accident. Reporting party requesting officer attempt to make contact with the female driving in parking lot on Tucker. Reporting party wants to remain anonymous. Disposition: Information only.
4:15 p.m. Warrant service on Arabian Drive. Possible DUI driver in a white Ford Edge. Driver now at home; was driving on the wrong side of the road. Reporting party has minor injuries, refusing medical. Disposition: Arrest made.
6:19 p.m. Driving under the influence at Cherry Lane/Tucker Road. Female driver has been drinking and was slurring her words. Reporting party would like contact. Disposition: Unable to locate.
6:49 p.m. Petty theft less than $400 at business on Tucker Road. White male adult being detained for taking alcohol. Disposition: Arrest made.
8:56 p.m. Disturbing the peace call at Cherry Lane/Tucker Road. 911 call: About seven subjects near four cars involved, possibly several subjects versus one subject; no weapons seen. Subjects asking for someone to be let loose, lots of yelling heard. Disposition: Arrest made.
Sept. 21, 2013
11:23 a.m. Disturbing the peace call on West "J" Street. Husband is going crazy, breaking windows and smashing furniture. Disposition: Arrest made.
12:34 p.m. Exhibiting weapon on Alps Drive. 911 call: Reporting party stated someone had run up to his door saying, "Someone pulled a shotgun on me." This happened in front of the reporting party's residence on Alps Drive in Alpine Forest. Disposition: Turned over.
9:23 p.m. Hit and run with property damage at residence on West "E" Street. Occurred about 20 minutes ago in the parking lot. Disposition: No further action required.
10:04 p.m. Spousal abuse report taken at Tehachapi Hospital. Victim is in the ER. Incident happened on Sept. 20. Disposition: No further action required.
11:26 p.m. Petty theft less than $400 reported at business on East Tehachapi Boulevard. Incident in progress; two females are distracting the cashier while one male is taking items. He stashed items behind the store then re-entered. Disposition: Arrest made.
Sept. 22, 2013
10:38 a.m. Suspicious circumstances at hotel on Steuber Road. Possible bullet hole in the wall; management is on scene. Appears the occupant of the room, who may have been in the area for a shooting competition, may have accidentally discharged a firearm. No evidence of injuries, but case is still under investigation. Disposition: Report taken.
11:33 p.m. Assault report taken at Tehachapi Hospital. An 18-year-old male is in the ER with head injuries, but does not have any recollection of where or what happened. Disposition: Report taken.
Bear Valley Springs Police Department:
Sept. 20, 2013
9:03 p.m. Water department service on Skyline Drive. Water break is creating a sink hole in the road. Disposition: Turned over.
10:07 p.m. Driving under the influence at Cummings Valley Road. Driver has been swerving and crossing over the center line several times. Disposition: No further action required.
Sept. 21, 2013
1:34 a.m. Traffic stop at Cummings Valley Road. DIsposition: Arrest made.
6:27 p.m. Hazardous material call on Sutter Court. Reporting party's neighbor's tree fell and took down a power line, which is now laying on the ground. Disposition: Turned over.
8:57 p.m. Traffic stop at Bear Valley Road/Chia Court. Disposition: Arrest made.
Sept. 22, 2013
5:50 p.m. Vicious, barking, bite, etc., call at Cabriolet on Jacaranda Drive. Dog is attacking caller's wife as she is running on the horse trail. The dog is a light colored lab type. Disposition: Negative contact.

Sept. 19, 2013
6:30 p.m. Second degree burglary reported at residence on Broome Road.
Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.
California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

This afternoon: Sunny, with a high near 77. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 51. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 75. West wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Tuesday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 44. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

• The Golden Hills Community Services District is holding a public workshop regarding its solid wast collection management at 6 tonight at the CSD building, 21414 Reeeve St.
• Trustees of the Tehachapi Unified School District will meet at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at the Claude L. Wells Education Center, 300 S. Robinson St.
• The Kern County Local Agency Formation Commission will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 25, to decide if it will reverse its prior decesion to allow the Golden Hills CSD power over its solid waste management collection. The meeting will be held in the Kern County Board of Supervisors chambers, 1115 Truxtun Ave., in Bakersfield.
• The next Airport Commission meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 8 at the Pilot's Lounge, 314 N. Hayes St.
