Tehachapi Police Department:
Nov. 12, 2013
9:53 a.m. Police 911 call occurred on North Mill Street. 90-year-old male has wandered away from the home, blue pajama pants, burgundy and yellow shirt. Disposition: Checks OK.
10:43 a.m. Petty theft report occurred at Tehachapi Police Department. Reporting party states phone was taken from unlocked vehicle. Disposition: Report taken.
2:59 p.m. Tehachapi city ordinance violation occurred on South Curry Street. Vehicles are parking in the bus loading zone. Disposition: Advised.
4:16 p.m. Police 911 call occurred on Carolyn Lane. Reporting party states neighbor came to house and yelled regarding dogs barking Neighbor also stepped into house. Disposition: Assisted.
5:08 p.m. Found property Reporting party found a back pack containing fire crackers and butane bottle in a trash bin. Disposition: Report taken.
6:10 p.m. Assist other agencies occurred at Tucker Road Highline Road. Teenager who hit the deer is standing by with the animal and stated someone was on the way with a firearm. Disposition: No Further action required..
Bear Valley Springs Police Department:
Nov. 12, 2013
6:34 a.m. Animal call occurred on Fox Ridge Court. Two loose cows, one black and one brown. Disposition: Turn over to other agency
8:18 p.m. Animal call occurred on Heather Court. Three bulls in front yard. Disposition: Information only.
Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation:
Between Nov. 12 and the morning of Nov. 13, the Kern County Sheriff's Department responded to 9 incidents, including including a disturbing the peace investigation in Golden Hills.
Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.
California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.
This afternoon: Sunny, with a high near 71. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 41. West northwest wind around 5 mph.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 66. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 38. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
The rest of the week should be mostly mostly clear with winds picking up Thursday and continuing gusty winds through Friday.

• The Tehachapi Planning Commission has canceled its November meeting.
* The next Tehachapi City Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 18, 6 p.m., at the Claude L. Wells Education Center.
• The Stallion Springs Community Service District Board of Directors is scheduled to meet Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 6 p.m., at 27800 Stallion Springs Drive.
• The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District's next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 5:30 p.m.
• The next meeting of the Golden Hills Community Service District Board is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 21, at 6:30 p.m., at 21415 Reeves Street.MOUNTAIN SPORTS THIS WEEK
