Tehachapi Police Department:

Nov. 18, 2013

11:56 a.m. Grand theft report at hotel on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Reporting party states a watch was taken from his hotel room during his stay; he checked out Sunday, Nov. 17. The watch is valued at $5,000. Disposition: No further action required.

2:54 p.m. Follow up at Aspen Drive. Disposition: Arrest made.

4:07 p.m. Follow up at Tehachapi Police Department; waiting for subject to turn himself in. Disposition: Arrest made.

4:43 p.m. Auto accident, no injuries/property at store on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Two-vehicle accident in the parking lot. Disposition: Assisted.

8:01 p.m. Disturbing the peace at residence on East "I" Street. Heard girl screaming, possibly getting beat up. Disposition: Arrest made.

8:39 p.m. Out of control juvenile on Chestnut Court. Twelve-year-old foster child destroying her house; was told to contact PD to transport child to Jamison Center. Disposition: Arrest made.

8:50 p.m. Burglary report on Beech Street. Light on gate has been stolen. Neighbor's house was broken into, possibly the same people. Disposition: Information only.

Nov. 19, 2013

12:20 a.m. Pedestrian check on Tucker Road. Disposition: Arrest made.

8:35 a.m. Petty theft report at business on West "E" Street. Someone stole reporting party's Visa card and debt card. Disposition: Report taken.

9:39 a.m. Burglary report at storage facility on Cherry Lane. Two trailers have been broken into. Disposition: Report taken.

10:08 a.m. Stolen vehicle reported at business on East Tehachapi Boulevard. Enclosed trailer was stolen and was parked about a month ago; last seen two weeks ago. Disposition: Report taken.

Bear Valley Springs Police Department:

Nov. 18, 2013

9:26 a.m. Petty theft report occurred on Hart Court. Requested officer for a report of theft of meds from the home. Disposition: Report Taken.

5:02 p.m. Vicious, barking, bite, etc. occurred on Timberline Way. Continuous barking dog for the hour and a half, two small dogs. Disposition: Warning (Cite/Verbal).

Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation:

Between Nov. 18 and the morning of Nov. 19, the Kern County Sheriff's Department responded to 23 incidents, including a malicious mischief investigation in Golden Hills.

Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.

California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. West northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Wednesday night: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36. West northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

A 20 percent chance of showers is forecasted for Thursday, before skies clear to mostly sunny on Friday. Temperatures will peak in the 50s, while nighttime lows continue in the 30s.

• The Stallion Springs Community Service District Board of Directors is scheduled to meet Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 6 p.m., at 27800 Stallion Springs Dr.

• The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District's next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 5:30 p.m. and will be held at 490 W. "D" St.

• On Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 6 p.m., the Tehachapi Valley Healthcare District board of directors will meet at the Golden Hills Community Services District building, 21415 Reeves St.

• The Tehachapi Cummings County Water District will meet at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 22901 Banducci Road.

• The next meeting of the Golden Hills Community Services District board is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 21, at 6:30 p.m., at 21415 Reeves St.

MOUNTAIN SPORTS THIS WEEK

Football — Varsity in CIF Division II Playoffs (Quarterfinals) this Friday at Garces HS (Sam Tobias Field – Bakersfield). Game will start at 7 p.m.

Volleyball – Varsity in CIF Division II Playoffs (Semifinals) this Tuesday at home against No. 3 Independence. Winner will face either No. 1 El Diamante / No. 5 Exeter this Thursday, Nov. 21 in the CIF Championship. Matches will start at 6:30 p.m.

Boys Basketball – Varsity / Jayvee vs. Paraclete-Lancaster at home next Monday, Nov. 25. Varsity will start at 6:30 p.m. and Jayvee will start at 4 p.m.
