Tehachapi Police Department:

March 24, 2014

9:25 a.m. Burglary report. Occurred on East "I" Street.  Disposition: Report Taken. NOTE: Theft from unlocked vehicle.

10:06 a.m. Abandoned vehicle. Occurred at Cedar Court and Beech Street. Older trailer rusty has been parked on the street for about a week. Disposition: Assignment completed.

4:12 p.m. Vandalism against person or property of another. Occurred at Tehachapi Police Department on East "F" Street. Damage to vehicle. Disposition: Information only.

5:20 p.m. Threat report. Occurred on Brentwood Drive. Reporting person is receiving threats via e-mail. Disposition: Civil problem.

6:41 p.m. Petty theft report. Occurred at Tehachapi Police Department on East "F" Street. Disposition: Report taken.

March 25, 2014

3:46 a.m. Vandalism report. Occurred on South Green Street. Broken window to the vehicle, no loss at this time. Disposition: Report taken.

Bear Valley Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.

Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation: Between March 24 and the morning of March 25, the Kern County Sheriffs Department responded to 23 incidents, including a fraud using personal info investigation on Silver Drive, a petty theft investigation on Sycamore Drive, a malicious mischief investigation on Moon Drive, a burglary investigation on Indian Wells Drive, and a malicious mischief on Woodford Tehachapi Road.

Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.

California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

Today: Sunny, with a high near 67. West northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tonight: A 20 percent chance of rain after 11pm. Increasing clouds, with a low around 39. Breezy, with a west wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.

Wednesday: Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 11am. High near 52. Windy, with a west wind 25 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Wednesday Night: Rain likely. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 35. Breezy, with a west wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
