The latest news - Tehachapi was treated to the sights and sounds of four WWII-era warbirds Saturday, as the Tehachapi Airport hosted its Warbirds Fly-in on Sept. 28. 9:55 a.m. Petty theft less than $400.00 ocurred at Salvation Army on East Tehachapi Boulevard. Silver/red mountain bike, chain wrapped around front, taken approx 10 minutes ago. No suspect info. Situation resolved.
12:42 p.m. Follow up officer initiated activity at Arabian Drive. Arrest made.
6:22 p.m. Traffic stop in 100 block of South Mill Street. Arrest made.
9:59 p.m. Threats death/bodily injury occurred on East “H” Street. Known male has made numerous threats to shoot female in past month. Today made gun gesture at her truck when she drove by. Blonde 5' 8” white male 21-year-old driving red Dodge Dakota with stickers on back. Unknown weapons. Advised.

• The Tehachapi Valley Parks and Recreation will hold a special meeting to adopt the Master Plan at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, at the district office, 490 W. "D" St.
• The Tehachapi City Council will meet Monday, Oct. 7, at 6 p.m. in the Beekay Theatre, 110 S. Green St.
