Tehachapi Police Department:

Nov. 22, 2013

11:35 a.m. Burglary of inhabited building on Goodrick Drive. Copper wire was taken. Disposition: Report taken.

1:30 p.m. Hit and run/property at Hickory Ave./Cherry Lane. Suspect vehicle was last seen going east. Disposition: Arrest made.

1:56 p.m. Hit and run/property on North Hayes Street. White Chevy was hit while parked at home. Reporting party did not see or hear anything. Dispotiion: Report taken.

1:59 p.m. Auto accident, no injuries/property on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Male driver in white, older truck with a camper shell hit the west side of the building. Disposition: Information only.

Nov. 23, 2013

4:55 a.m. Shots fired/heard on West "H" Street. One shot was heard, and then a vehicle. Disposition: Checks OK.

11:58 a.m. Assault at business on Tucker Road. Older white male has just kicked the reporting party and stolen a Coke. Is across the street in front of another business. Disposition: Arrest made.

3:41 p.m. Petty theft less than $400 at business on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Adult female has been detained for shoplifting. Disposition: Arrest made.

9:45 p.m. Burglary of inhabited residence on East Sutter Street. Reporting party was in the bedroom when someone opened the window, subject then ran eastbound. Disposition: Report taken.

Nov. 24, 2013

12:47 p.m. Auto accident with minor injuries at Highline Road/Country Oaks Street. Disposition: Assisted.

2:52 p.m. Stolen vehicle report at Brett Avenue. Disposition: Report taken.

3:53 p.m. Exhibiting a weapon at Tehachapi Willow Springs Road/Highline Road. Three males in front of the shack; one was pointing and waiving a pistol at the other two. Disposition: Assisted. NOTE: Juveniles were playing with airsoft guns.

9:18 p.m. Health and safety call at Beech Street. Disposition: Arrest made.

Nov. 25, 2013

2:13 a.m. Burglary report on Sherwood Place. Unknown subject attempted to make entry to the reporting party's vehicle in front of the residence. Disposition: Information only.

Bear Valley Springs Police Department:

Nov. 20, 2013

3:16 p.m. Theft of mail, reported at Bear Valley Police Department. Disposition: Report taken.

Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation:

Between Nov. 22 and the morning of Nov. 25, the Kern County Sherriff's Department responded to 48 incidents, including a petty theft investigation at Mid Way/Woodford Tehachapi Road, brandishing a weapon on Tehachapi Willow Springs Road/Highline Road, and a burglary investigation on Mesa Drive in Golden Hills.

Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.

California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

WEATHER FORECAST

Today: Sunny, with a high near 55. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 37. West wind around 5 mph becoming east in the evening.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 58. East southeast wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 37. East wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Mostly sunny skies will last through Wednesday, but Thanksgiving Day has a 20 percent chance of showers, which are forecasted to continue into Friday. Highs will stay around 50, with lows a little below 40.
