The latest - The Board of Trustees of Tehachapi Unified School District will meet tonight; not sure if there will be action taken, but possible move of sixth graders to main building on Jacobsen Middle School campus is on the agenda, along with discussion of where Abernathy Charter School will be housed. Meeting is at 6 p.m., Claude L. Wells Education Center, 300 S. Robinson St.   AND a second juvenile has been arrested in connection with the post office burglary of Jan. 29.

08:59 TRESPASSING Occurred on E. “E” Street, Reporting party received report that unknown subjects have possibly broken into the residence and are squatting in the residence. Disposition: Checks OK.

10:20 DISTURBING THE PEACE Occurred on Elm Street, loud music, ongoing problem since yesterday. Disposition: No further action required.

11:57 STOLEN VEHICLE Occurred at Valley Blvd/Tucker Rd, Victim advising possibly had observation on his stolen trailer. Direction of travel was eastbound from Highway 202 on Schout Road. Disposition: Unable to locate.

12:02 TRESPASSING Occurred at Jacobsen Middle School on Anita Drive. Possible trespass subject on campus, info received via School Resource Officer. Disposition: unable to locate.

13:34 BURGLARY; INHABITED Occurred on E. "I" Street, Tehachapi. Service Class: Residence, reporting party states residence was broken into within the last hour. Loss includes amount of jewelry and coin collection.
Disposition: Report Taken.

13:39 SCHOOL RESOURCE DUTY Officer initiated activity at Monroe High School, South Snyder Ave, Staff meeting and drug awareness program. Disposition: Assignment completed.

14:05 TRAFFIC CONTROL NEEDED Officer initiated activity at E. Valley Boulevard and Snyder Avenue.

16:04 DISTURBING THE PEACE Occurred at Kmart on W. Tehachapi Boulevard. At the bus stop, subjects possibly pushing around another subject who is possibly handicapped. Disposition: Checks OK.

16:52 FOLLOW UP Occurred on S. Mill Street, caller has further info about burglary for officer.

18:11 PEDESTRIAN CHECK Officer initiated activity at West Park Activity Center, W. "D" Street, Tehachapi. Disposition: Arrest made of 15 year old juvenile for burglary, conspiracy, vandalism and mail theft.  This is from the Post Office incident on Jan. 29.

20:13 SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE Occurred on Hickory Ave., 100 block, Silver 4 door Volkswagen occupied by two subjects in front of a vacant residence. Disposition: Checks OK.

23:03 DISABLED VEHICLE Officer initiated activity at 58 Highway/North Mill St, Disposition: Assignment Completed.

23:33 PARKED VEHICLE Officer initiated activity at Monolith Street and E. Tehachapi Boulevard. Disposition: Non Moving Citation.

03:40 ASSIST OTHER AGENCIES Occurred on Santa Maria Drive, Tehachapi. Reporting party at this address is claiming there are three male subjects in his front yard refusing to leave however the reporting party has history of drugs and possession of a firearm. Disposition: assisted.

05:16 SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES Occurred at E. Valley Boulevard and S. Green Street. Reporting party states there is a vehicle in the area with no lights on. There is a subject in the passenger seat but no driver. Disposition: Checks OK.

07:42 SCHOOL RESOURCE DUTY Officer initiated activity at Jacobsen Middle School, Anita Dr. Circulating Jacobsen Middle School and Monroe High School Disposition: Checks OK.

07:59 SCHOOL RESOURCE DUTY Officer initiated activity at Monroe High School, S. Snyder Avenue, drug evaluation/ possible under the influence of marijuana.

FIRE Occurred at Hwy 58/Woodford Tehachapi Rd, Cellular 911 Call: Caller is reporting her vehicle is disabled Can hear a crackle like noise. No injuries, no other parties involved Disposition: Turned over To Kern Fire

08:38 TRESPASSING Occurred on Jacobson Court, Possible delinquent, suspicious person, male subject wearing a backpack went through the back gate from alley way on Jacobsen. Unknown numbers, unknown if location is occupied, north side of Jacobson, yellow/white house. Disposition Checks OK (pest control sprayer).

Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation: Nothing to report.

California Highway Patrol: Nothing to report.

Bear Valley Police Department: Nothing to report.

Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing to report.

Wednesday: Night Mostly clear, with a low around 36. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming east northeast after midnight.

Tonight's Tehachapi Airport Commission meeting has been cancelled.

Tehachapi Unified School District Board of Trustees will meet tonight at 6 p.m. at the Claude L. Wells Education Center, 300 S. Robinson St. CLICK HERE for agenda.

Due to lack of agenda items the Tehachapi Municipal Advisory Council meeting originally set for Wednesday, Feb. 13, has been cancelled.

The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District's February Board of Director’s meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 19, has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 5:30 p.m. at the TVRPD office, 490 W. "D" St.
