Aug. 15, 2013
7:28 a.m. Extra patrol at Tompkins Elementary. Checks ok.
7:38 a.m. Welfare check request. Check the welfare. Father is concerned because he heard that her mother and her may have been evicted. Last contact was two months ago. Unknown if she went to school this morning she is in 8th grade. Checks ok.
7:57 a.m. School resource duty at Jacobsen Middle School. Regarding Students being defiant with crossing guards. Checks ok.
8:52 a.m. Suspicious circumstances on South Pauley Street. Window open and the blinds are pulled up. Unknown if someone broke in or if someone is there. Checks ok.
10:09 a.m. Counter at the police department. Reporting party received a call from her caregiver, stated that her two grandchildren 12 and 16 have left the school grounds at are now at city park. Reporting party request an officer for assistance with the two juveniles, Request officer to meet her at the police department. Information only .
11:42 a.m Reckless driving on West “J” Street. Vehicle driving erratic. Unable to locate.
12:38 p.m. Peace disturbance verbal on West “D” Street. Second hand to reporting person. Several subjects to the front of the residence in a verbal. Unknown how many. Unfounded.
12:38 p.m. Counter at the police department. Reporting party wants to report his license plate stolen.
1:51p.m. Traffic stop on North Curry Street. Arrest made.
3:08 p.m. Welfare check request on West “D” Street. Possible transients, passed out in a pile of leaves. Arrest made.
3:11p.m. Disturbing the peace on West “E” Street. Ongoing problem. Loud semi truck parked in front of the complex running all day and night, exhaust comes into reporting party's window. Advised.
4:16 p.m. Traffic stop on Tucker Road. Moving violation cite.
5:00 p.m. Vandalism against person or property of another on West Valley Boulevard. To a vehicle occurred some time last night. Subjects slept in the vehicle overnight, damage to floor board, also subjects left behind some suitcases, sleeping bags and other misc items. Assignment completed.
5:35 p.m. Citizen requested assistance on Mulberry Street. Reporting person has moved her husband to a different care facility in Bakersfield. Employees at the above care facility are refusing to turn husband's medication over so she can take them to Bakersfield. No further action required.
6:38 p.m. Follow up on Mulberry Street. Employees are requesting female to be removed from the premise. Female is refusing to cooperate with employees and refusing to leave. Female is currently outside of the facility moving husband's property out. Civil problem.
8:06 a.m. Pedestrian check at East “I” Street and North Green Street. Arrest made.
9:58 p.m. Pedestrian check at South Green Street and East Tehachapi Boulevard. Arrest made.
11:48 p.m. Missing person. Flagged down by a mother stating her 19-year-old daughter is fours hours late returning home. Information only.

06:36 a.m. Traffic stop at Senica Way and Bear Valley Road. Moving violation cite.
7:08 a.m. Traffic stop at Palomino Way and Bear Valley Road. Moving violation cite.
10:43 a.m. Out of control juvenile at Cummings Valley Elementary. Advised.
2:51 p.m. Vandalism against person or property of another occurred at Jacaranda Drive and Territory Way. Reporting party vacation home has been toliet-papered and the bird house has been destroyed
3:57 p.m. Keep the peace on Bear Valley Road. Reporting party wants to pick up personnel belongings for his son. No further action required .
6:31p.m. Disturbing the peace on Willow Pass Drive. Husband states she is verbal, slamming doors and is refusing to eat. Turned over.
6:19 p.m. Fire occurred at Highway 202 and Cummings Valley. Brush fire on the side of the road. Fire advised.Information only .
6:20 p.m. Brush fire a mile from the prison going east on Highway 202 on the north side of roadway
transferred caller to ECC. Unable to locate.
7:11 p.m. Vicious, barking, bite, etc. occurred on San Juan Drive. Barking dog. Reporting party does not want contact. Warning.

12:01 a.m. Lost property occurred at Four Island Lake on Pinedale Drive Lost glasses black case. Information only.
3:19 a.m. Auto accident - no injuries/property at Bear Valley Road and Cumberland Road. Report taken.
5:38 a.m. Suspicious vehicle occurred on Bear Valley Road. Reporting party seen a driver wearing a pig mask heading westbound on Bear Valley Road toward the store. Vehicle described as a green truck older model possible with flames. Unable to locate.
6:28 a.m. Counter at the police department. Civil standby. Reporting party needs to retrieve son's property from mother's house in the valley. Assignment completed.
7:16 a.m. Welfare check request occurred on Rollingoak Drive. Has been three days since reporting party has been able to reach his daughter. Mother possibly keeping daughter from making contact with him. Checks ok.
8:53 a.m. Water Dept. Service. Occurred on Buttercup Court. Water leak coming from the rear of reporting persons residence. Turn over..
9:10 a.m. Animal call occurred on Homestead Way. Wild boar located to the rear of property. Unable to locate.
9:40 p.m. Found property occurred at Fawn Way and Lower Valley Road. Blue vinyl case found by the bus stop. Assignment completed.
Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation: Nothing reported.
Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.
California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

• The next City Council meeting is Monday, Aug. 19, at 6 p.m. inside the Beekay Theatre, 110 S. Green St.
• The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District's boar of directors will meet at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 20 at the district headquarters, 490 West "D" St.
• Directors from the Tehachapi-Cummings County Water District will met at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at the disrtrict headquarters, 22901 Banducci Road.
• There will be a pre-proposal meeting to explain the process of the Golden Hills Solid Waste Collection Request for Proposal at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21 at the Golden Hills CSD building, 21415 Reeves St. The public is welcome to attend the meeting, which is mandatory for all potential bidders.
