16:07 TRAFFIC HAZARD Occurred at Tucker Rd./West Valley Blvd., Broken glass on Valley in front of Taco Bell covering the merging lane onto east bound Valley Blvd. Disposition: Situation Resolved.

16:29 RECKLESS DRIVING Occurred on Kelton St., 100 block, Subject riding motor scooter on street creating a nuisance. Gray/black T-shirt and green shorts. Disposition: Unable to Locate.

17:43 CITIZEN REQUESTED ASSISTANCE Occurred at Albertsons 6347 on Tucker Rd., Would like officer contact regarding property his ex wife is holding and demanding money for in return. Reporting party is standing by in a red 1992 Nissan Sentra at second driveway near the main doors. Disposition: No Criminal Activity.

21:17 BURGLARY ALARM Occurred at Christian Life Assembly Of God on West Valley Blvd., North entry and kitchen doors no responsible. Disposition: Checks Ok.

00:04 DISTURBING THE PEACE Occurred on Linden Ct., Tehachapi. Cellular 911 Call: Reporting party states he hears some sort of disturbance going on inside of the apt boarded up. Disposition: Checks Ok.

00:05 DISTURBING THE PEACE Occurred on S. Curry S.t, Apt. right next to Jakes closest to the street. Reporting party states the black male adult is possibly leaving. Disposition: Checks Ok.

06:53 BURGLARY; INHABITED Occurred on Oakwood St., Attempted burglary to vehicle, golf club found near vehicle. Disposition: Report Taken.

• This afternoon: Sunny, with a high around 55. West northewest wind 10 to 15 mph.

• Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 33. West northwest wind around 5 mph.

• Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 51. Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph.

• Thursday night:  A chance of rain and snow showers. Snow level 4,100 feet. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. West northwest wind around 15 mph, with a gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

• Chance of snow showers through Friday.

Tehachapi Unified School District is holding its second middle school unification meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 5:30 p.m. at Tompkins Elementary, 1120 S Curry St.

The Tehachapi-Cummings County Water District has scheduled a special board meeting for Thursday, Feb. 9 at 9 a.m. at the distrcit headquarters, 22901 Banducci Rd.
