Jan. 3, 2014
11:03 a.m. Vicious, barking, bite, etc. Occurred at East Tehachapi Boulevard South Robinson Street. Loose dog at this location contact animal control. Disposition: Advised.
12:02 p.m. Missing juvenile report. Occurred at Tehachapi Police Department on East "F" Street. Runaway juvenile report. Disposition: Report Taken.
2:49 p.m. Theft of mail. Occurred at Tehachapi Police Department on East "F" Street. Reporting person enroute. Disposition: Advised.
3:43 p.m. Petty theft less than $400.Occurred at Kmart on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Just occurredd, items were recovered, reporting person standing by near the garden shop, DP running westbound toward the field in black sweater, black pants sunglasses blonde hair 6'4, lost visual. Disposition: Report Taken.
Jan. 4, 2014
1:47 a.m. Petty theft less than $400.Occurred at Circle K 10 on East Tehachapi Boulevard. Just occurred. 5 hispanic male juveniles stole beer, LS southbound toward central park. All wearing black jackets and blue jeans. Disposition: Report Taken.
7:24 a.m. Drunk in public. Occurred on Tucker Road. White male adult in checkered plaid jacket shoulder length hair, extremely hbd, was seen running into objects/ walking toward Albertsons/going into Albertsons at this time. Disposition: Arrest Made.
8:41 p.m. Vandalism report. Occurred at Walgreens Drug Store on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Black 2013 Volkswagen Jetta vehicle was keyed possibly by a male subject that she had a verbal dispute at 2 p.m. hours this date. The male subject was occupying a Tan Chevy Silverado.Disposition: Report Taken.
Jan. 5, 2014
6:55 a.m. Burglary report. Occurred on Oakwood Street. Reporting person’s girlfriend’s car was stolen from the driveway sometime since 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 4 when they left for AZ, home should be completely locked/secure, no other cars. spare key to vehicle on kitchen table, reporting person was advised by a homeowner in Bakersfield that his girlfriend's vehicle 2005 Ford Escape Maroon was abandoned in his front yard. The homeowner advised a subject came back and was going thru the vehicle but he was run off. A spare key was left behind. BPD was contacted but has not yet responded. Disposition: Report Taken.
5:06 p.m. Vandalism against person or property of another. Occurred at City Slickers Restaurant Saloon on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Reporting person’s car was keyed sometime since 11 a.m., parked on the east side of the parking lot. Disposition: Report Taken.
Bear Valley Springs Police Department:
Jan. 3, 2014
11:23 a.m. Vandalism report. Occurred on Miller Lane. Vandalism to the postal boxes at this location. Disposition: Report Taken.
Jan. 5, 2014
6:40 a.m. Hit and run/property. Occurred at Bear Valley Springs Community Church on Plateau Way. Vehicle into the North East corner of the building, vehicle appeared to have rolled the embankment, no one is at the scene. Disposition: Report Taken.
Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation: Between Jan. 3 and the morning of Jan. 6, the Kern County Sheriff's Department responded to 64 incidents, including an elderly abuse investigation on Scarpero Drive, a malicious mischief investigation on South Street, and a shooting at an uninhabited dwelling investigation on Zurich Drive.
Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.
California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

• The Tehachapi Planning Commission's next meeting is Jan. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Wells Education Center on 300 S. Robinson St.
