Tehachapi Police Department:

Jan. 16, 2014

5:06 a.m. Stolen vehicle recovery. Officer initiated activity at Tucker Road.Out with possibly female in stolen vehicle. Disposition: Arrest Made.

7:03 a.m. Suspicious circumstances. Occurred on Aspen Drive. Behind her apartment in the alley there was a male subject throwing boxes over the fence-white truck unknown plate-the male is now leaving alley in unknown direction. Reporting person wishes no contact, language barrier. Disposition: Report Taken.

10:07 a.m. Burglary report. Occurred on East "D" Street. Reporting person stating someone attempted to break in through the window sometime last night. Nothing was taken. Disposition: Report Taken.

7:47 p.m. Auto accident - minor injuries. Occurred at South Curry Street and West "D" Street. Unknown injuries, approximately 60 year old male, all parties still 10-97. Disposition: Report Taken.

Bear Valley Springs Police Department:

Jan. 16, 2014

11:31 a.m. Counter at the Police Department. Occurred at Bear Valley Police Department on Bear Valley Road. Subject hit a statute and subsequently hit a CSD sign. Disposition: Information Only.

4:57 p.m. Suspicious circumstances. Occurred on Breech Court. Can hear alarm, possibly from neighbor's house, been going off for approximately 10-15 min. Disposition: Checks Ok.

Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation: Between Jan. 16 and the morning of Jan. 17, the Kern County Sheriff's Department responded to 20 incidents, including a peace disturbance in Golden Hills.

Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.

California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

Today: Sunny, with a high near 66. East southeast wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 41. South southeast wind around 15 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 66. East southeast wind around 10 mph.

• The Stallion Springs Community Services District is hosting its next board meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 6 p.m. at the CSD's headquarters, 27800 Stallion Springs Drive.
