Tehachapi Police Department:

Feb. 14, 2014

6:36 a.m. Traffic stop. Officer initiated activity at Hwy/Tucker Road. Westbound from Tucker, approximately one mile. Disposition: Arrest made.

1:43 p.m. Petty theft less than $400. Occurred at Save Mart #64 on Tucker Road. Liquor taken from the store, subject placed items in the rear of the vehicle and got into a gray SUV. Disposition: Report taken.

2:13 p.m. Petty theft less than $400. Occurred at Tehachapi Police Department on East "F" Street. Loss of cell phone, reporting person has possible suspect info. Disposition: Report taken.

3:18 p.m. Accident with no details. Occurred at City Slickers Restaurant Saloon on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Cellular E911 Call: Vehicle hit a motorcycle, M/C driver is down and blocking lanes. Disposition: Report Taken. NOTE: 49-year-old male was passing traffic on the right, westbound on Tehachapi Boulevard, struck by a car turning left into parking lot, transported to KMC with possible leg & collar bone injuries.

5:05 p.m. Traffic stop. Officer initiated activity at West Tehachapi Boulevard and South Hayes Street. Disposition: Arrest made.

Feb. 15, 2014

5:39 a.m. Unauthorized use of personal info. Occurred at Love's Truck Stop on East Tehachapi Boulevard. Customer gave a stolen credit card to worker and is trying to use it. Disposition: Report taken.

Feb. 16, 2014

5:32 a.m. Disturbing the peace. Occurred on Aspen Drive. Landlord /tenant situation. Disposition: Advised.

Feb. 17, 2014

8:41 p.m. Disturbing the peace. Occurred on Aspen Drive. Reporting person can hear verbal 415 between males and females, can hear objects being thrown. Disposition: Arrest made.

Bear Valley Springs Police Department:

Feb. 14, 2014

9:57 a.m. Theft of mail. 
Occurred on Jacaranda Drive. 3 packages taken from the mailboxes Jacaranda and El Rancho . Disposition: Report Taken.

Feb. 17, 2014

9:14 p.m. Peace disturbance music. Occurred on Plateau Court. Disposition: Gone On Arrival.

Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation: Between Feb. 14 and the morning of Feb. 18, the Kern County Sheriff's Department responded to 85 incidents, including a petty theft investigation on Zurich Drive, a theft investigation on Sioux Street, a spousal abuse in Golden Hills, a burglary investigation in Golden Hills, and a burglary investigation on Highline Road.

Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.

California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 60. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38. West northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 53. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 15 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 37. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 10 to 15 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

• The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District is meeting Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 5:30 p.m. at the district's headquarters, 490 West "D" St.

• The Tehachapi Cummings County Water District is meeting Wednesday, Feb 19. 4 p.m. at 22901 Banducci Rd.

• The Golden Hills Community Services Distrct's next board meeting is slated for Thursday, Feb. 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the district's headquarters, 21415 Reeves St.

Girls Soccer – No. 10 seed Varsity (6:30 p.m.) at No. 7 seed Golden West in Central Section Division III playoffs this Wednesday, Feb. 19.

Wrestling – CIF Valley Championships (9 a.m.) at East High this Friday-Saturday, Feb. 21-22.
