Tehachapi Police Department:
Feb. 24, 20141:48 p.m. Disturbing the peace. Occurred on Clearview Street. The farmers behind her residents are driving the tractors all evening and day long making loud noise. Disposition: Information Only.
1:52 p.m. Trespassing. Occurred at Uneek Findz on West "F" Street. On the east side of building there appears to be someone sleeping on the side of the business. Disposition: Information Only.
2:24 p.m. Warrant service. Disposition: Arrest Made.
7:05 p.m. Disturbing the peace. Occurred on South Green Street. In the Sonic restaurant, wearing a red apron, employee, stating customers want to fight with him that are in the parking lot, does not seee any weapons. Disposition: No Further Action Required.
10:20 p.m. Burglary alarm. Occurred at Trader Bo's on W Tehachapi Boulevard. Audible to the general motion detector, responsible pending. Disposition: False Alarm.
Bear Valley Springs Police Department:
Feb. 24, 20149:25 a.m. Shots fire/head. Occurred on Bear Valley Road. Reporting person is hearing popping sound coming down from the valley. Disposition: Advised.
9:41 a.m. Annoying phone calls report. Annoying phone calls from an auto dialer-caller id shows. Disposition: Report taken.
11:32 a.m. Burglary report. Occurred at 28 on North Lower Valley Road. VIPS conducted an extra patrol check at location and noticed the back door was left unsecured and broken. Disposition: Checks Ok.
1:19 p.m. Animal call. Occurred on San Juan Drive. Loose horse in the back yard, possible neighbor’s horse. Disposition: Unable to Locate.
5:53 p.m. Vicious, barking, bite, etc. Occurred on Lakeview Drive. Barking dogs for 30 minutes, recurring problem. Disposition: Advised.
9:06 p.m. Suspicious circumstances. Occurred on Ryder Cup Lane. Reporting person stating possible small fire in the backyard. Fire enroute. Code 4. Disposition: No Criminal Activity.
Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation: Between Feb. 24 and the morning of Feb. 25, the Kern County Sheriff's Department responded to 22 incidents, including a grand theft investigation in Golden Hills.
Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.
California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.
Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 66. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40. West northwest wind around 5 mph.
Wednesday: Rain likely after 4 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 60. West northwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming south southwest in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

• Ballroom Dancing at West Park Activities Center every Monday, starting Feb. 24. Beginners classes start start at 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Intermediate classes go from 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Classes cost $50 per person for six one-hour classes.
• James Lee Stanley & John Batdorf: "All Wood and Stones," songs of Rolling Stones, unplugged, presented by Fiddlers Crossing, at Beekay Theatre, Saturday, March 1 at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20.
• TCT's 2014 Playwright's Festival begins at the Beekay Theatre on Friday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m. All seats are $10.
• The Tehachapi Unified School District's next board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25, 6 p.m. at the Wells Education Center on 300 S. Robinson St.
• The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District's is hosting a special board meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 5:30 p.m., at the district's headquarters on 490 W. "D" St. Agenda items include discussion of the 2014 agreement with TVRPD and Tehachapi Little League.
• Bear Valley Springs CSD is hosting its next board meeting on Thursday, Feb. 27, 6 p.m. at the district's headquarters on 28999 S. Lower Valley Road.

Boys Basketball – Varsity (7 p.m.) vs. the winner of No. 3 Independence and No. 14 South in CIF Central Section Division III playoff quarterfinals this Thursday, Feb. 27. Winner of that game will play in the playoff semifinals next Tuesday, Mar. 4.
Girls Basketball – Varsity (7 p.m.) vs. No. 13 Arvin in the CIF Central Section Division III playoff first round this Wednesday, Feb. 26. If THS wins, they will play the winner of No. 5 Shafter and No. 12 Frontier in the playoff quarterfinals this Friday, Feb. 28 at home. Winner of the quarterfinal match-up will play in the playoff semifinals next Wednesday, Mar. 5.
