Aug. 15, 2014

12:12 p.m. Citizen requested assistance, occurred on Woodview Court. Father had been picked up by an ambulance in Arvin and is requesting info on the hospital. Disposition: Turn over to.

1:54 p.m. Reckless driving, occurred at Cumberland Road/Dart Drive. Dark burgundy Land Cruiser with gold emblems. Last contact with the disturbing part was as the reporting party turned onto San Juan Drive prior to the disturbing party tailgating and yelling obscenities. Disposition: No criminal activity.

4:24 p.m. Unauthorized use of personal info, occurred at Bear Valley Police Department on Bear Valley Road. Reporting party sent money to a subject in Las Vegas with the impression that he was going to be purchasing a Hamm radio, loss of $236. Las Vegas PD requesting report. Disposition: Report taken.

7:05 p.m. Theft of mail, occurred on Sunset Way. Package taken. Disposition: Report taken.

8:48 p.m. Vicious, barking, biting, etc, occurred on Rebel Court. Barking dog. Disposition: Advised.

Aug. 16, 2014

9:55 a.m. Traffic stop, officer initiated activity at Bear Valley Road/San Juan Drive, Disposition: Arrest made.

1:21 p.m. Trespassing, occurred on Medicine Bow Court. Contract workers at the property nearby are continually coming onto the reporting party's property, would like them advised. Disposition: No criminal activity.

2:05 p.m. Traffic stop, officer initiated activity at Driving Range, Rollingoak Drive. Disposition: Arrest made.

4:08 p.m. Traffic stop, officer initiated activity at Giraudo Road/Pellisier Road. Disposition: Arrest made.

4:18 p.m. Follow up. occurred at Bear Valley Police Department on Bear Valley Road. Reporting party requesting officer contact regarding previous case. Disposition: Negative contact.

5:34 p.m. Out for investigation, officer initiated activity at Santa Barbara Drive. Disposition: Assignment completed.

7:02 p.m. Traffic stop, officer initiated activity at Bear Valley Road/Cumberland Road. Disposition: Arrest made.

9:52 p.m. Vicious, barking, biting, etc, occurred on San Juan Drive. Barking dog. Disposition: Assignment completed.

Over 300 classic, vintage and hi-performance cars and trucks will start arriving at 6 a.m. Show hours are 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., with the band “Denim” rocking from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Entry fee to have a vehicle in the show is $35, with no charge to visitors of the show. • Family Life Pregnancy Center is selling tickets for the Barrel for Life drawing, to be held during the Evening for Life dinner/auction on Aug. 22. • The Tehachapi Praying Moms will be sponsoring a free min-retreat for all women in Tehachapi Saturday, Aug. 23, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
