March 20, 2014

8:35 a.m Warrant Service. Officer initiated activity at Valley Blvd/Oakwood St. Disposition: Arrest Made.

1:32 p.m. Petty theft less than $400. Occurred at Kmart on W Tehachapi Blvd., Disposition: Arrest Made.

5:04 p.m. Ocurred on Tucker Rd., Cellular E911 call: unk name, hispanic, male, approx 40-50, wearing gry sweater, gry ls outside.  Disposition: Arrest Made warrant.

5:11 p.m.Assist Other Agencies. Ocurred at Steuber Rd/E Tehachapi Blvd, Aoa union pacific-three trespassers on train 10 rail cars from rear of train r/p union pacific - no unit available stopping train in about 20 min- officers need to make contact with crew. Dispoisition: Unable to Locate.

Bear Valley Springs Police Department: Nothing reported

Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.

California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.


Today: Mostly sunny with a high near 63. West northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 39. West northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 62.  West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 38. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.


• Ernest Troost is playing at Fiddlers Crossing at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 21. All seats are $20.

• Beyond Sight, a surfing movie with a Christian message, is playing at 4 and 7 p.m. at the Hitching Post Theatre on Friday, March 21. Tickets are $5 for the matinee showing, and $7 for the evening viewing.

• Tehachapi Community Theater Juniors will present Michele L. Vacca's "Sleeping Beauty," based on the famous Perrault romance, at the Beekay Theatre, 110 S. Green St., Tehachapi. Performances will be held at 7 p.m. on the Fridays and Saturdays of March 28 and 29, April 4 and 5, and April 11 and 12. Sunday matinees will be held at 2 p.m. on April 6 and 13.

Golf – Golf at Taft – Buena Vista Country Club (1 p.m.) on Monday, Mar. 24.
