12:43 a.m. Stolen vehicle, officer initiated activity at Tucker Road. Disposition: Arrest made.
7:44 a.m. Vicious, biting, barking, occurred on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Five pit bulls fighting. Disposition: Assignment completed.
8:53 a.m. Unauthorized use of info, occurred at Tehachapi Police Department on East “F” Street. Disposition: Report taken.
10:33 a.m. Keep the peace, occurred at Tehachapi Hospital on West “E” Street. Reporting party picked up her son from his father's custody to take him to be evaluated for possible abuse, she is en route to the hospital and believes the child's father may be there as well. Disposition: Advised.
11:54 a.m. Petty theft of less than $400, occurred on Michael Avenue. Reporting party is the owner of the property, requesting officer presence while one of the tenants retrieve property and reporting a past occurance of petty theft of a generator from the property. Disposition: Assisted.
12:04 p.m. Trespassing, occurred at East Tehachapi Boulevard and South Snyder Avenue. Subject trespassing on the train in rail car, will be stopping the train as close to the intersection as possible. Disposition: Arrest made.
2:01 p.m. Citizen requested assistance, occurred at Abernathy Collegiate Charter School on Anita Drive. Principal advised the father of a student called to and is en route to pick up his daughter, the school was provided a copy of a protection order which has not yet been served. Disposition: Situation resolved.
4:17 p.m. Theft, occurred at Walgreens Drug Store on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Male subject fled. Disposition: Arrest made.
4:19 p.m. P Petty theft of less than $400, occurred at Kmart on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Reporting party is Kmart. A suspect ran from the store, loss is a cell phone charger. Subject jumped a fence. Disposition: Report taken.
11:56 p.m. Welfare check request, occurred at The Village Apartments on North Mill Street. Male subject behind standing on the tracks one block east of the Shell station yelling. Disposition: Assignment completed.

5:29 a.m. Peace disturbance music, occurred at The Village Apartments on North Mill Street. Loud bass. Disposition: Advised.
3:39 p.m. Trespassing, occurred at Mulberry Villa Apartments on West “E” Street. Disturbing party is banging on doors and upsetting the residents. Disposition: Advised.

1:13 a.m. Disturbing the peace, occurred at Circle K on East Tehachapi Boulevard. Two Hispanic male subjects were in a verbal inside the store. One of the subjects is wearing a brown button up shirt now walking toward City Park. The other subject left the area in green vehicle toward Gas and Go. Disposition: No criminal activity.
8:41 a.m. Petty theft, occurred on Alder Avenue. Reporting party's wallet was taken out of his unlocked vehicle sometime during the night. Neighbors called at approximately 3:30 a.m. to advise the vehicle's interior lights were on. Disposition: Report taken.
9:12 a.m. Burglary report, occurred on Arabella Court. GPS was taken out of the reporting party's vehicle overnight , no report requested at this time. Disposition: Information only.
9:20 a.m. Warrant service, officer initiated activity at Beech Street. Disposition: Arrest made.
10:20 a.m. Burglary report, occurred on Arabella Court. Binoculars, knives and other miscellaneous items taken from the reporting party's truck overnight. Disposition: Information only.
11:01 a.m. Burglary report, occurred on Ponderosa Drive. Phone cords, miscellaneous items taken from the Reporting party's vehicle. Disposition: Information only .
11:45 a.m. Pedestrian check, officer initiated activity at South Davis Street/East Tehachapi Boulevard. Disposition: Arrest made, under influence.
1:25 p.m. Warrant Service, occurred at California Correctional Institute on Highway 202. Female is there for visitation with 8-year-old child, background check revealed she is a major crime alert from Los Angeles Sheriff's Office. Once officer is at the gate, go to the visiting reception parking lot. Disposition: Arrest made.
3:48 p.m. Shots fired/heard, occurred at Mountain Park. Subjects shooting in the park. Disposition: Turn over to Kern County Sheriff's Office.
5:56 p.m. Trespassing, occurred on South Mojave Street. Reporting party left her home because her son pulled a knife on her and threatened to kill himself. Disturbing party is on Ventura County probation not to be out of the county, and has previously been violent with police and will run from officers according to Reporting party. Reporting party's father at the scene. Disposition: Arrest made.
7:41 p.m. Vandalism against person or property, occurred on South Pauley Street. A lawn ornament was sett on fire at approximately 4:30 p.m. Item is no longer on fire. Disposition: Assignment completed.
8:13 p.m. Burglary reported, occurred on South Hayes Street. Juveniles were seen running from residence, screen was tampered with in the master bedroom and items were moved under the window. Reporting party's daughter is the witness. She saw two black male juveniles, one Hispanic male juveniles. Last seen eastbound through the alley. Disposition: Report taken, unable to locate.

1:49 a.m. Pedestrian check, officer initiated activity at East Tehachapi Boulevard/South Robinson Street. Disposition: Arrest made.
8:37 a.m. Disturbing the peace, occurred at Love's Truck Stop on East Tehachapi Boulevard. Female refusing to leave location yelling and screaming inside. Disposition: Advised.
11:05 a.m. Fire, occurred at Tehachapi Hospital on West “E” Street. There was an explosive in the lab and they smell smoke. Unknown if there were injuries and unknown what exploded. Transferred to fire department. Disposition: Checks Ok.
1:45 p.m. Aircraft down, occurred at South Dennison Rd/East Tehachapi Boulevard. Plane crash at the end of Runway 29. Disposition: Assignment completed. Federal Aviation Administration to handle.
4:53 p.m. Kidnapping, occurred on West “E” Street. Verbal occurring in the alleyway behind the above address. Disposition: Arrest made.
5:29 p.m. Petty theft of less than $400, occurred on Brentwood Drive. Past occurred, stating Disturbing party, keeps jumping the fence and possibly stealing items from reporting party's yard. Disposition: Information only .
5:32 p.m. Suspicious activity, occurred on South Pauley St. CHP transferred call to Sheriff's Office. Female stating she needed police, disturbance of some sort was heard in the background before disconnection. trace done by SO confirms address. Sheriff's Office and CHP attempted to recontact reporting party with no success. . Disposition: No further action required.
5:44 p.m. Disturbing the peace, occurred at Mulberry Villa Apartments on West “E” Street Verbal, past occurred approximately 15 minutes, Disturbing party was at reporting party's front door, left in a blue/black van with a male driving, last seen headed toward West Park. Disposition: Assignment Completed, unable to locate.
7:09 p.m. Disturbing the peace, occurred at Highway 58/North Mill Street.
Eastbound between Tehachapi Boulevard and Mill Street, white van pulled over on shoulder and occupants involved in a disturbance of the peace. Subject standing at the door appeared to be kicking someone. Disposition: Unfounded.
7:21 p.m. Drunk in public, occurred at East “I” Street/North Robinson Street. White male adult, drunk in public, walking eastbound on East “I” Street screaming and yelling at passersby. Subject is possibly looking for an animal but appears disoriented. Disposition: Information only, unable to locate.

9:30 p.m. Vicious, barking, biting, occurred on Dart Drive. Barking dog. Disposition: Assignment completed.

7:13 p.m. Assisted other agencies, occurred at Cummings Valley Road/Highway 202. Dispatch is unable to make contact with CHP unit on a hit-and-run. Disposition: Checks OK
10:15 p.m. Annoying phone calls, occurred on Jamaica Dunes Drive. Unknown subject is continually calling. Reporting party is home alone. She received prior calls from the same subject threatening. This only occurs when husband is out of town. Disposition: Report taken.

1:12 p.m. Any civil problem, occurred at Deertrail Drive. Reporting party's brother is intoxicated and harassing her via text, possibly en route from Pinedale Drive. Male half is saying that her husband is not allowed on her property. Disposition: Situation resolved.
3:02 p.m. Traffic stop, officer initiated activity at Cummings Valley Road. Disposition: Arrest made.
6:01 p.m. Animal call, occurred on Rebel Court. Reporting party requesting an officer to scare a bear off her property, not aggressive, sitting under a tree. Disposition: Advised.
9:47 p.m. Driving under the influence of alcohol, occurred at the gate on Bear Valley Road. White Chevy dually with a camper shell driving 35 m.p.h. impeding traffic, all the way from Highway 202 to the gate. Vehicle is now going through the gate. Disposition: Checks OK.

5:21 p.m. Shots fired/heard, occurred on South Lower Valley Road. Pinedale gate near the nature trail, reporting party stating that his wife and child were near the trail on horseback and mule, could hear people talking and shots fired, unknown males or females, clothing description Disposition: Unable to locate.
7:05 p.m. Suspicious activity, occurred on Canyon Court. 20-year-old female, possibly wearing a black top and black leggings and 20-year-old male possibly lost on the trail Pinedale/Canyon Court, both subjects on foot. Reporting party will be attempting to locate driving a 2000 brown Toyota minivan. Disposition: Advised.

Between Friday, May 23 and the morning of Tuesday, May 27, the Kern County Sheriff's Office responded to 68 calls, including an out-of-control juvenile on Orrick Avenue, a warrant service on Water Canyon Road, a disturbance of the peace on Old Town Road, a trespassing call on Loumas Lane, a trespassing call on Meadows Road, a malicious mischief call on Alps Drive at Alpines Forest Park a suspicious individual at Willow Place, a grand theft investigation on Carriage Drive, battery investigation on Madre Street, shots heard on Water Canyon Road at Tehachapi Mountain Park, a spousal abuse call on Tehachapi Boulevard, a theft investigation on Brian Way, a grand theft investigation on Fuller Way, and a burglary investigation on Carriage Drive. Between May 19 and May 26, KCSO made eight arrests, including four felony arrests.

• Freemasons will meet on Wednesday, May 28, at 7 p.m., in the Tehachapi Masonic Center, located at 24309 Cummings Valley Road.
• The Catholic Daughters will be holding their Spring Rummage sale on Friday, May 30, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, May 31, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., in McMullan Hall at St. Malachy Catholic Church, located at 407 W. "E" St.
• Scout Troop 178 will host a rummage sale to raise money for Scout Camp on Saturday, May 31, beginning at 7 a.m., at the Health and Wellness Parking lot, located at 20241 Valley Blvd.
• Tehachapi High School will be holding special School Site Council meetings to finish up the business of the year. Meeting will be held May 29, at 1 p.m., in the Administration Building in the large conference room. The public is invited to attend.
• The Tehachapi Unified School District’s regular board meeting will be held Tuesday, May 27, at 6 p.m., at Claude L. Wells Education Center, located at 300 S. Robinson St.
• The Kern County Parks and Recreation Commission will be conducting a meeting at Tehachapi Mountain Park on Wednesday, May 28, at 6:30 p.m., in the Mess Hall at Tehachapi Mountain Park, located at 17350 Water Canyon Road. The Commission is seeking public input on future improvements at this facility.
The public is encouraged to attend and provide input.
• Tehachapi High School will host the Senior Awards Night, Thursday, May 29, at 6 p.m., in the Tehachapi High School gym. The school's many graduates will be receiving local and national scholarships and awards.
• Lisa Kroese will give a presentation and answer questions on the topic of "What will we do with all of our stuff?" The public is invited and the June 5 meeting will be at the Senior Center, located at 500 E. "F" St., beginning at 6:30 p.m.
