Tehachapi Police Department:

Dec. 20, 2013

9:11 a.m. Petty theft less than $400. Occurred on Cherry Lane. Service Class: Resident took a package from her.  Black female wearing black jeans and a white shirt, had a red ball cap, suspect left down the sidewalk toward parked vehicle. She enetered a white to occupied by two others and they left going toward Tucker. Disposition: Report Taken.

9:48 a.m. Warrant service. Officer initiated activity at Greenwater Drive. Disposition: Arrest Made.

5:49 p.m. Warrant service. Occurred on Elm Street. Officers req code 33 when 10-97.Disposition: Arrest Made.

5:53 p.m. Petty theft report. Occurred at Dollar Tree #2430 on Tucker Road. Shoplifters in the store, have now left and are in a white vehicel. Females have shoplifted on other occasions. Left the parking lot going north on Tucker Road. Disposition: Report Taken.

Dec. 21, 2013

10:30 a.m. Petty theft less than $400. Occurred on Cherry Lane. Debit card taken. RP BELIEVES the suspect to be a male known to her. Grandmother is the victim, reporting person is calling on her behalf. Disposition: Report Taken.

Dec. 22, 2013

9:34 a.m. Found property. Officer initiated activity at Tehachapi Police Department at East "F" Street. Personal check, Bank of Sierra check. Disposition: No Further Action Required.

Bear Valley Springs Police Department:

Dec. 20, 2013:

9:43 a.m. Theft of mail. Occurred on Echo Court. Yesterday they had a package slip/ no package was located. Disposition: Report Taken.

9:48 a.m. Warrant service. Officer initiated activity at Greenwater Drive. Disposition: Arrest Made.

10:32 a.m. Theft of mail. Officer initiated activity at Serra Place and Bear Valley Road. Disposition: Assignment Completed.

1:43 p.m. Theft of mail. Occurred on Pioneer Court. An amazon package was taken on Monday/ approximately value of $45. Disposition: Report Taken.

10:27 p.m.  Vandalism againt person or property of another. Occurred at Oak Tree Country Club on Rolling Oak Drive. Reporting person advised of a party at the club, a juvenile subject left and hit a light on the way damaging it, subject is possibly still in the parking lot. Disposition: Report Taken.

Dec. 21, 2013

11:23 a.m. Theft of mail. Occurred at Bear Valley Police Department on Bear Valley Road. Received a mail slip, no package found in box. Disposition: Report Taken.

5:17 p.m. Theft of mail. Occurred on Rolling Oak Drive. Received a mail slip and no package found. Disposition: Report Taken.

Dec. 22, 2013

9:57 a.m.   Vandalism against person or property of another. Occurred at Town Center Campground on Serra Place. Windows to the bathrooms have been broken and unknown if further damage occurred. Disposition: Report Taken.

5:56 p.m. Theft of mail. Occurred on Bowen Court. Package missing from mail station. Disposition: Report Taken.

7:16 pm. Theft of mail. Officer initiated activity at Rolling Oak Drive and North Lower Valley Road. Disposition: Assignment Completed.

Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation: Between Dec. 20 and the morning of Dec. 23, the Kern County Sheriff's Department responded to 64 incidents, including a rape investigation and an assault with a deadly weapon investigation in Golden Hills, and a burglary investigation on Santa Lucia Street.

Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.

California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

Girls Soccer — No games scheduled this week. Varsity/Jayvee next contest will be on Friday, Jan. 3 vs. Paraclete at home – Coy Burnett Field. Varsity will start at 4:30 p.m. and Jayvee will start at 3 p.m.

Wrestling — Varsity at Lemoore Bash on Friday-Saturday, Dec. 27-28.

Boys Basketball — Varsity at Garces Holiday Tournament (Garces HS) on Monday, Dec. 30 against Bakersfield Christian. Tip off will be at 10:30 a.m.

Girls Basketball — No games scheduled this week. Varsity/Jayvee next non-league contest will be on Tuesday, Jan. 7 vs. California City at home. Varsity will be at 6 p.m. and Jayvee will be at 3 p.m. Jayvee will also be at Shafter Winter Shootout on Thursday, Jan. 2. Frosh-Soph will be at Arvin Tournament on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
