08:58 SCHOOL RESOURCE DUTY Officer initiated activity at Jacobsen Middle School, Anita Dr. Disposition: Assignment Completed.

09:12 VANDALISM AGAINST PERSON OR PROPERTY OF ANOTHER Occurred at Bus Barn Transportation Tuesday on East "H” St. Reporting party at corner of Mojave/'H” St. driver's side window has been smashed, unknown loss. Disposition: Report Taken.

09:30 FOLLOW UP Officer initiated activity at Cummings Valley Elementary, Bear Valley Rd. Officer got a call from principal. Reporting someone inappropriately touched her behind and her home is not safe. Disposition: Information Only

09:55 WARRANT SERVICE Officer initiated activity at Steuber Rd. Disposition: Arrest Made.

10:02 MISSING PERSON Occurred on Oakwood St. Resident 33 year old bipolar male possibly off meds however states he is not violent, left location this morning, does not normally leave the location without grandmother. No access to weapons. Disposition: report taken

11:07 SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES Occurred at Saveon Pharmacy on Tucker Rd. Female from yesterday is present to pick up perscriptions. female 50's, long blond hair/red with brown knitted sweater and sun glasses. Disposition: Unfounded.

12:48 PETTY THEFT LESS THAN $400 Occurred at Scotts Auto Body on East “H” St. Occured at 20:53 last night. unknown suspect. Reporting party has video survalance. Disposition: Report Taken.

13:22 TRAFFIC STOP Officer initiated activity at Tucker Rd./Red Apple Ave. Disposition: Moving Violation Citation.

14:25 COUNTER AT THE POLICE DEPARTMENT Occurred at Tehachapi Police Department on East “F” St. Reporting party request to speak to officer re: his son, reporting party is at PD lobby. Disposition: Assignment Completed.

14:50 TRAFFIC CONTROL NEEDED Officer initiated activity at Tompkins Elementary, South Curry St. Disposition: No Further Action Required.

15:00 SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES Occurred at Albertsons on Tucker Rd. Female from yesterday here to pick up meds. Female, 50 short blond curly hair, unknown clothing. Disposition: Report Taken.

15:16 DISTURBING THE PEACE Occurred at Four Seasons Trailer Park on West “J” St. Reporting party, reporting problem with father called 911 states he can't live with him anymore and he feels as if he wants to hurt his father but decided to call us instead. Disposition: Situation Resolved.

15:33 DISTURBING THE PEACE Occurred at Rite Aid on Tucker Rd., second hand from CHP. Two males went into the location fighting about road rage incident. Disposition: Assignment Completed.

15:55 PEDESTRIAN CHECK Officer initiated activity at Skate Park, West “D” St. Disposition: Arrest Made.

19:08 TRAFFIC STOP Officer initiated activity at Tucker Rd./West Tehachapi Blvd. Disposition: Moving Violation Citation.

20:34 TRAFFIC STOP Officer initiated activity at Kelton St./West Valley Blvd. Disposition: Moving Violation Citation

22:52 OPEN DOOR/WINDOW Occurred on Sherwood Place. Report of doors and gates open at a residence on the corner. Reporting party refused to give his info. Disposition: False Alarm.

23:52 BURGLARY ALARM Occurred at Tehachapi Little League on West “D” St. Storage shed motion. Open door, responsible party arrival pending. Disposition: Checks Ok.

08:14 VICIOUS, BARKING, BITE, ETC. Occurred on Bamboo Ct. Reporting party want to talk to officers. Ref: Barking dog that lives behind reporting parties residence barks all day long. Has been going on for two years now. Disposition: Unable to Locate.

08:29 COUNTER AT THE POLICE DEPARTMENT Officer initiated activity at Santa Fe Motel, W.Tehachapi Blvd. Disposition: Assisted.

08:43 RESTRAINING ORDER  Occurred on Clearview St., Mother of children does not have them properly restrained in her vehicle.

Bear Valley Police Department: Nothing to report

Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi substation: Reported three citations issued for trespassing in the Old West Ranch Area. Still under further investigation.

California Highway Patrol:  A High wind advisory is in effect from 15 miles West of Tehachapi to the San Bernardino County line. Travel is not recommended for campers, trailers or permit loads.

Stallion Springs Police Department: 

1/15/13

Officers testified in the preliminary hearing of an adult female they arrested for illegal possession of schedule IV prescription medication, illegal possession of four hypodermic syringes, possession of a methamphetamine pipe containing methamphetamine and possession of marijuana over one ounce.  The subject was held to answer and later pled guilty to the charges.

SSPD officers responded to a domestic battery in progress and placed an adult male subject under arrest for suspicion of domestic battery.

SSPD officers responded to a call of two vicious dogs running loose.  Officers contained the dogs and issued a warning citation to the owner.

SSPD officers counseled a subject regarding the safe use of a pellet rifle on his property.

SSPD officers participated in a Kern AVOID DUI task force and issued eight citations.

SSPD officers responded to medical aid call for a victim having difficulty breathing. Officers assisted the victim until medical aid arrived.

3/18/13

SSPD officers received a commendation from California City Mayor Patrick Bohannon for their assistance during a detailed investigation of real estate fraud involving the theft of over 2 million dollars. Their assistance led to the arrest of five subjects.

The National Weather Service in Hanford provides the following forecast for the Tehachapi area

This afternoon: Partly sunny, with a high near 60. West/northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 34. Breezy, with a west/northwest wind 15 to 20 mph.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 57. West/northwest winds 5 to 15 mph.

Friday night: Clear, with a low around 33. Breezy, with a west/northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Clear and cool temperatures are forecasted for this weekend.

CIVIC CALENDAR

The Tehachapi-Cummings County Water District Board of Director will meet this afternoon March 20 at 4 p.m. at ‪22901 Banducci Rd.‬

Stallion Springs CSD, Informational Town Hall Meeting on the proposed Police Tax, at 10 a.m. Saturday March 23 in the Corral Room at the Community Center.

The next Tehachapi Unified School Distrcit Board of Trustees' meeting will be Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 6 p.m. at the Claude L. Wells Education Center, 300 South Robinson St.
