Death of woman found in Mojave apartment being investigated as 'suspicious'
The death of an adult woman whose body was discovered inside an apartment in Mojave Sunday afternoon is being investigated by the Kern County Sheriff's Office.
According to a new release, deputies were dispatched to the 2100 block of Panamint Street in Mojave just after 3:30 p.m. Sunday after a landlord found a deceased adult female inside an apartment at the complex.
Detectives were called to the scene and are investigating the incident as a suspicious death.
No further details are available. An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the cause and manner of death.
The woman's identity was not released.
