Kern County brings free animal clinic to Mojave

Kern County Animal Services is holding a free spay and neuter clinic for pets of Mojave residents on Saturday, March 15 at the Mojave Veterans Building, 15580 O Street. Dogs and cats are fixed for free. Clinic also includes Rabies vaccination, Microchip and DHPP (dogs) or FVRCP (cats). Certain restrictions apply: limit four pets per household, no pets over 40 lbs, and no pets in heat or over seven years old. By appointment only. Kern County Animal Services will also host a low-cost vaccination, licensing, and microchip clinic open to residents living in unincorporated areas of Eastern Kern County from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. No appointment is need to attend the vaccine clinic.
