Kern County Sheriffs deputies have arrested a man allegedly involved in a shooting that caused Golden Hills Elementary to go into lockdown around 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4.

At the time of the incident, witnesses told KCSO that Pina shot at another hispanic male near Santa Maria Drive and Madre Street in Golden Hills, before fleeing in a vehicle towards Valley Boulevard. The victim fled the area on foot.
