Oct. 11, 2013
4:42 p.m. Pedestrian check at Valley Boulevard/South Curry Street. Someone in the field on a four wheeler. Disposition: Arrest made.
6:36 p.m. Battery report at school on Anita Drive. Student was attacked by another student on campus, possibly Monday or Tuesday; no injuries are visible. Disposition: Report taken.
7:36 p.m. Auto accident with no injuries/property at business on Valley Boulevard. Black BMW versus a gray Hyundai; BMW is blocking the roadway and is immobile. Disposition: Report taken.
8:21 p.m. Auto accident with no injuries/property at business on East Tehachapi Boulevard. Male subject hit a tractor trailer in the rear of the parking lot and the owner cannot be located. Disposition: Assignment completed.
8:50 p.m. Shots fired/heard at West "J" Street/North Curry Street. One shot was heard in the area; reporting party does not want contact. Disposition: Unable to locate.
Oct. 12, 2013
11:46 a.m. Disturbing the peace on East Tehachapi Boulevard. Fight between two white males who had been inside the store causing trouble. A second reporting party states one of the males is holding down the other in the street. Disposition: Arrest made.
6:10 p.m. Assault with a deadly weapon at business on North Mill Street. Male subject has been drinking and hit the reporting party in the back of the head with a board. Reporting party is standing by. Victim is bleeding from the head but declined medical aid; also declined to prosecute. Disposition: No further action required.
9:19 p.m. Disturbing the peace on West "D" Street. Black male is under the influence and grabbing females who are in the area. He has been told to leave but is refusing. Disposition: Arrest made.
9:44 p.m. Petty theft less than $400 at business Tucker Road. Male subject is being detained; he took two beers, candy and a water bottle, total value is $39.34. Disposition: Arrest made.
Oct. 13, 2013
4:15 a.m. Suspicious circumstances on Georgia Street at a residence. Male subject at the reporting party's residence, banging on the door, offering the reporting party money to give him a ride. Subject left the front door in an unknown direction. Disposition: Arrest made.
9:29 a.m. Traffic stop at South Curry Street/West "A" Street. Disposition: Arrest made.
6:16 p.m. Battery reported at Tehachapi Hospital. Victim does not wish to prosecute. Subject was jumped and recyclable cans were taken. Disposition: Information only.
9:36 p.m. Auto accident, no injuries/property at business on Tucker Road. Tan Chevy Avalanche versus Ford Focus. Disposition: Assignment completed.

Oct. 11, 2013
9:42 p.m. Bar check at Country Club, Rollingoak Drive. Disposition: Checks OK.
10:26 p.m. Driving under the influence at Valley Boulevard/Tucker Road. Disposition: Unable to locate.

7:13 p.m. Drunk in public at business on Bear Valley Road. Disposition: No further action required.
7:20 p.m. Bar check at Country Club on Rollingoak Drive. Disposition: Checks OK.
9:53 p.m. Bar check Country Club on Rollingoak Drive. Disposition: Checks OK.
Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation:
Deputies responded to 71 incidents between Oct. 11 and the morning of Oct. 14, including one call for petty theft at a business on Brian Way, and two for malicious mischief, the first on Tehachapi Boulevard and the second on Golden Hills Boulevard.
Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.
California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 43. East wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 67. East wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Tuesday night: Clear, with a low around 43. East wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
The week's forecast looks repetitive, with highs in the mid-60s and lows in the 40s, sunny and clear skies.

• The Tehachapi Planning Commission's meeting scheduled for Monday, Oct. 14, has been adjourned until Tuesday, Nov. 12. The November meeting was moved to Tuesday in observance of Veteran's Day.
• The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks Dept. board of directors will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the district headquarters, 490 W. "D" St.
* Directors for thte Tehachapi-Cummings County Water District will meet at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the district headquarters, 22901 Banduccci Road.
• On Wednesday, Oct. 16, the Tehachapi Valley Heathcare District board of directors will meet at the Golden Hills Community Services District, 21415 Reeves St., at 6 p.m.
• The Golden Hills CSD board will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, inside the CSD building, 21415 Reeves St.
• Stallion Springs Community Services District's board of directors will meet Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. in the CSD multipurpose building, 27800 Stallion Springs Drive.
