Tehachapi resident Cynthia Randall and her husband Steve got to rub shoulders with NBA legends including Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone, Dominique Wilkins, all for what she describes was just the "click of a button."

Randall was the finalist of 4,000 others who entered to win the "Sears Shooting Stars Sweepstakes," an all-expenses-paid vacation to New Orleans to participate in the 2014 NBA All-Star Weekend in February, through the Shop Your Way program -- a shopping website that allows customers to rack up points, coupons and participate in online contests and sweepstakes.

"Every night there are about 50 sweepstakes that are free," Randall said. "You win anywhere from a dollar to cruises, trips. I've been doing it since April of last year."

NBA All-Star Weekend is a three-day event that occurs once every year and brings together the standout athletes from the National Basketball Association to participate in exhibition games, slam dunk and three point shooting contests.

Randall said her favorite part of the weekend was standing next celebrity Nick Cannon and delivering a trophy to basketball stars Dominique Wilkins, Chris Bosh, and WNBA player, Swin Cash, after three of them won the "Shooting Stars" competition, a timed shooting event.

To go along with their VIP treatment, Cynthia and Steve also had a private meet and greet with famous Los Angeles Laker player, A.C. Green.

The four day trip also allowed the Randalls to explore New Orleans, visiting the house of Anne Rice, the French Quarter, Jackson Square, and more.

"We took an airboat tour," Cynthia said. "We had a three-hour city tour that was really amazing because they took us to the homes that are still marked from Katrina."

Randall said she encourages other to participate in these sweepstakes, which are completely free and simple to enter.

"I always tell everyone: If you don't play, you don't win."
