Aug. 14, 2013
9:17 a.m. Officer initiated enforcement of Tehachapi city ordinance on North Curry Street. Need an officer to assist in vacating the residence; there is a subject on the property. Disposition: No further action required.
9:47 a.m. School resource duty at Tehachapi High School. Disposition: Assignment completed.
10:43 a.m. Out of control juvenile student at Cummings Valley Elementary. Disposition: Advised.
12:02 p.m. Assisted other agencies on East "F" Street. Out with KCSO on a traffic stop. Disposition: Arrest made.
2:45 p.m. Traffic stop at South Curry Street/West "C" Street. Disposition: Moving violation citation.
3:19 p.m. Verbal peace disturbance on Highway 202. Disposition: Assisted.
3:24 p.m. Report taken at police department counter. Reporting party states ex-girlfriend is violating court order. Disposition: Civil problem.
3:30 p.m. Petty theft report taken at police department. Reporting party states two bikes were taken out of his garage last night. Disposition: Report taken.
4:12 p.m. Auto accident with minor injuries at East Tehachapi Boulevard/Tehachapi Willow Springs Road. Two vehicle accident. Disposition: Report taken.
4:24 p.m. Auto accident, no injuries or property damage on Pepper Drive. Two vehicle accident, off the roadway. Driver requesting contact at home. Disposition: Assignment completed.
4:51 p.m. Disobedience of court order at City Hall. Out with restraining order. Disposition: No further action required.
5:42 p.m. Trespassing at residence on North Mill Street. Reporting party wants her ex-boyfriend to leave her residence. Boyfriend owns a 9mm Glock, unknown if in his possession. Subject came in the house and is now outside scraping on the side of the wall. Inside the house are two children, the sister and the reporting party. Disposition: Unable to locate.
5:48 p.m. Trespassing on West Tehachapi Boulevard at a business. Subject is refusing to leave to reporting party's work place has been very verbal and hanging around for about five hours. Disturbing party is in front of the building on a yellow bike, wearing an American flag bandana with a back pack. Disposition: Advised.
6 p.m. Keeping the peace at the police department with a dog exchange. Reporting party will be driving a blue Volkswagen Jetta. Disposition: Information only.
6:45 p.m. Petty theft report on Chaparral Lane. Past occurrance; iPod was taken from an unlocked vehicle. Disposition: Report taken.
9:24 p.m. Water alarm on Chaparral Lane. Contacted Public Works and advised them of water coming up from under the street. Disposition: No further action required.
Aug. 15, 2013
7:38 a.m. Welfare check request on Miller Lane. Father is concerned because he heard that she and her mother may have been evicted. Last contact was two months ago. Unknown if she went to school this morning; she is in 8th grade. Disposition: Checks OK.
7:57 a.m. School resource duty at Jacobsen Middle School regarding students being defiant with crossing guards.

Aug. 14, 2013
12:03 a.m. Disturbing the peace on Appaloosa Court. Report of a verbal argument in progress. The disturbing party is described as a 19-year-old male under the influence of alcohol. Disposition: Arrest made.
6:36 a.m. Traffic stop initiated by officer at Senica Way/Bear Valley Road. Disposition: Moving violation citation.
7:08 a.m. Traffic stop at Palomino Way/Bear Valley Road. Disposition: Moving violation citation.
2:51 p.m. Vandalism against a person or property of another at Jacaranda Drive/Territory Way. Someone has toilet papered the house and the bird house has been destroyed. Reporting party does not wish contact, only a log and note. Disposition: Information only.
5:14 p.m. Traffic hazard on Bear Valley Road. Motorcycle is parked in the roadway. Disposition: Unable to locate.
6:31 p.m. DIsturbing the peace on Willow Pass Drive. Husband is causing a verbal argument. He is slamming doors and refusing to eat. Disposition: Turned over.
Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation: Nothing reported.
Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.
California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 61. West wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 88. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Friday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 61. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Heading into the weekend skies are expected to remain sunny and clear with highs in the upper 80s and lows around 60 degrees.
