Oct. 25, 2013
2:59 a.m. Pety theft less than $400 occurred on East Tehachapi Blvd. Male, 40'S, black hoodie and cap took a bottle of wine and a burger. Disposition: Arrest made.
6:20 a.m. Disturbing the Peace occurred at the Tehachapi Hospital. Subject in the emergency room, uncooperative with staff. Disposition: Checks OK.
11:14 a.m. Trespassing occurred on West Tehachapi Blvd. Subject wearing a black shirt, jeans and bandana in front of building. Disposition: Advised.
2:25 p.m. Suspicious circumstances occurred on Tucker Road. Subject acting weird, told employees he just got out of jail. Disposition: No further action required.
2:38 p.m. Disturbing the peace occurred on Tucker Road. Adult male yelling in business, grey hair, average height, wearing baggy black hoodie, black pants telling employees not to call police, not making any sense of what he is saying. Disposition: Checks OK.
3:51 p.m. Hit and run, property occurred on Tucker Road. White Ford F350 ran over right turn only sign. Disposition: Report taken.
Oct. 26, 2013
1:17 a.m. Assualt with deadly weapon occurred on Cypress Way. second-hand information from CHP, reporting party's friend showed up home with deep lacerations. Disposition: Arrest made.
7:51 p.m. Stolen vehicle occurred on West "F" Street. Subject maced the victim when approached, then ran west bound toward the police station. Disposition: Report taken.
Oct. 27, 2013
7:30 p.m. Battery occurred on North Mill Street. Reporting Party's sister scratched the reporting party's face. Disposition: Assignment completed.
11:31 p.m. Robery occurred on East Tehachapi Blvd. Two Males, one tall w/ goatee wearing denim jacket and one short/stalky, made a gesture like he was holding a gun and demanded the employee give all the money in the register. Disposition: Report taken.

10:20 a.m. Auto accident, no injuries/property on Caliente Bodfish Road. Disposition: Turned over.Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation:
Deputies responded to 62 incidents between Oct. 25 and the morning of Oct. 28, including a petty theft investigation on Water Canyon Road, three battery investigations on Courtlandt Court in Alpine Forest, and public intoxication on Golden Hills Boulevard.
Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.
California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.

Tonight: A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. Breezy, with a west wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 50. West wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Tuesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 32. West northwest wind 5 to 15 mph.Wednesday will see clearing skies, continuing through the rest of the week with high temperatures in the 50s and 60s, with lows in the 30s.

• Tehachapi City Council will hold its next meeting on Monday, Nov. 4, 6 p.m. at the Claude L. Wells Education Center, 300 S. Robinson St.
• The Tehachapi Planning Commission's next meeting is Tuesday, Nov. 12, 6 p.m. at the Claude L. Wells Education Center, 300 S. Robinson St. The November meeting was moved to Tuesday in observance of Veterans Day.
• The next scheduled meeting for the Tehachapi Airport Commission is Tuesday, Nov. 12, 6 p.m. at the Pilot's Lounge, 314 N. Hayes St.
• Beginning in November, the City Council and Planning Commission will meet at Claude L. Wells Education Center, 300 S. Robinson St., in the board room. This is a change from meeting at the Beekay Theatre.

Football – Varsity/JV vs. Foothill at home this Friday, Nov. 1. Frosh vs. Foothill at home this Thursday, Oct. 31. Varsity starts at 7:30 p.m. and Jayvee/Freshmen starts at 5 p.m.
Volleyball – Varsity/JV/Frosh-Soph at Highland on Tuesday, Oct. 29 and vs. North at home on Thursday, Oct. 31. Matches start at 6:30 p.m. (Varsity), 5 p.m. (Jayvee) and 4 p.m. (Frosh-Soph).
Girls tennis – Varsity at CIF South Area Section Individual Championships on Friday-Saturday, Nov. 1-2. Singles start at 2 p.m. and Doubles start at 4 p.m. on Friday, and matches start at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
Cross Country – Varsity/Jayvee at Garces (SEYL dual) on Wednesday, Oct. 30. First run starts at 3:30 p.m.
