Oct. 15, 2013
8:56 p.m. Found Property occurred at Tehachapi Police Department. Reporting party found a set of keys on Mountain View south of the church at approximately 8 a.m. Property is at the police department. Report taken.
12:50 p.m. Found Property occurred at Tehachapi Community Congregational Church on East "E" Street. Found a wallet. Inside wallet are a couple of syringes. Report taken.
2:08 p.m. Found Property occurred at St Jude's In The Mountains Episcopal Church on South Curry Street. Found syringe. Report taken.
2:37 p.m. Counter at police department occurred at Tehachapi Police Department. Subject has a possible warrant out of Paso Robles. Arrest made.
3:21 p.m. Missing Person on Tehachapi Boulevard. Her foster child ran away from the high school. Last seen wearing a black t-shirt white jacket, bleach jeans, dark black hair with curls and blue bangs, left with a boy. Report taken.
5:17 p.m. Missing person locate occurred at East Tehachapi Boulevard. Possible runaways, two juvenile hitch hiking. Walking toward 58 restaurant about a mile away. Two juvenile one is boy second is girl approximate age is 14-year-old both had sweaters. Situation resolved.
6:56 p.m. Pedestrian check at East Tehachapi Boulevard. Arrest Made.
7:45 p.m. Spousal abuse report occurred on East "H" Street. Reporting party in parking lot across from Home Depot on Mill Street. Arrest made.
9:40 p.m. Drunk in public occurred at Dog House Saloon on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Young male had bottle of Captain Morgan, swinging it around, then went outside and is passed out in parking lot. Arrest made.
Bear Valley Springs Police Department:
Oct. 15, 2013
7:08 p.m. Warrant Service on Jacaranda Drive. Arrest made.
Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation:
Deputies responded to 24 incidents between Oct. 15 and the morning of Oct. 16, including two burglaries in Golden Hils.
Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.
California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.
The National Weather Service in Hanford provides the following forecast for the Tehachapi area:
This afternoon: Sunny, with a high near 67. East southeast wind 5 to 15 mph.
Tonight: Clear, with a low around 40. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 68. West northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Thursday Night: Clear, with a low around 41. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
The weather should remain clear, with highs in the low 70s an lows in the mid 40s through the end of the weekend.

• The Tehachapi Planning Commission's meeting scheduled for Monday, Oct. 14, has been adjourned until Tuesday, Nov. 12. The November meeting was moved to Tuesday in observance of Veteran's Day.
* Directors for thte Tehachapi-Cummings County Water District will meet today at 4 p.m., at the district headquarters, 22901 Banduccci Road.
• The Tehachapi Valley Heathcare District board of directors will meet at the Golden Hills Community Services District, 21415 Reeves St., tonight at 6 p.m.
• The Golden Hills CSD board will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17, inside the CSD building, 21415 Reeves St.
