Tehachapi High students Jenna Hall and Christopher Boyd were crowned Queen and King and the Warriors bested the North High Stars, 41-13, in Coy Burnett Stadium tonight at the annual Homecoming celebration.
The football game culminated a week of festivities at the high school with an "Olympiad" theme.

A California City man charged with the murder of two-year-old Pharaoh Van Vactor pleaded not guilty to one count of first-degree murder and one count of assault of a child under eight resulting in death, at his arraignment on Monday, Dec. 2 at the Kern County Superior Court in Bakersfield.
