10:25 SCHOOL RESOURCE DUTY  Officer initiated activity at Golden Hills Elementary, Park Road, Tehachapi.
11:32 TRAFFIC STOP Officer initiated activity at Sunrise Way/South Curry Street, Disposition: Moving Violation Citation.

11:53 KEEP THE PEACE Officer initiated activity at Tompkins Elementary, S Curry St, Officer requested additional officer to handle parents who are at entrance to the school and will possibly cause a disturbance. Disposition: No further action required.

12:13 SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE Occurred at Tehachapi High School on South Dennison Road. Officer asking units to check blue Yukon parked across from the Administration Building. When approached by school officials he was in the north parking lot and said he was looking for his son's vehicle. Disposition: No further action required.

12:36 DISTURBING THE PEACE Occurred at Central Park on East “D” Street. Reporting party said mom harassing her. 12:47  RECKLESS DRIVING  Occurred on South Green Street. Subjects racing up and down the street in their vehicles. One white car and one black car still in the area. Disposition: No further action required.

14:13 WARRANT SERVICE Officer initiated activity at Tehachapi Police Department, East "F" Street, Tehachapi. Disposition: Negative contact.

14:19 DISTURBING THE PEACE Occurred at East “E” St./South Green Street. Male subject broke into vehicle. Disposition: Unable to locate.

14:44 TRAFFIC CONTROL NEEDED Officer initiated activity at East Valley Boulevard and Snyder Ave. Disposition: No further action required.

15:29  PETTY THEFT LESS THAN $400 Occurred at BSE Equipment Rental on East Tehachapi Boulevard. Past occurrence, four trailers missing license plates. Reporting party in rental office. Disposition: Report taken.

15:47 POLICE-911 Occurred at laundromat on Niles St.Bakersfield, reporting party received a phone call from one of his laundromat customers who is at that location, there is some type of drug activity/possible disturbance going on currently in the parking lot. Reporting party had just gotten off work in Tehachapi and wanted officers to respond to check the area. Disposition: Unable to locate.

16:10 CITIZEN REQUESTED ASSISTANCE Occurred at Tehachapi Police Department on East “F” St. Reporting party requested a voucher for a hotel; is stranded until tomorrow. Reporting party wearing blue jeans, blue jacket and shirt and red hat. Disposition: Assisted.

17:08 VANDALISM AGAINST PERSON OR PROPERTY OF ANOTHER Occurred on Oakwood Street, some time overnight, unknown suspect vandalized reporting party's vehicle outside lights to residence also stolen, vehicle is a blue PT Cruiser. Disposition: Assignment completed.

19:36 MISSING PERSON Occurred at Tehachapi Police Department on E. “F” St. Reporting party outside of PD in a blue Dodge Ram standing by to place report for missing person, Melanie Reynolds, age 33, does not reside in our area. Disposition: Report taken.

20:21 MISSING PERSON Occurred on Black Oak Drive. Reporting party reporting her son missing (habitual runaway) Cody Rankin, age 14, last seen last night at residence. Disposition: Report taken.

00:00 TRAFFIC STOP Officer initiated activity at “H” St/S. Curry Street, Tehachapi. Disposition: Arrest made.

07:08 BURGLARY ALARM Occurred on Beech Street, Back door. Homeowner  with invalid key code. Disposition: Checks OK.

08:18 SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES Occurred at Love's Truck Stop on East Tehachapi Blvd., Subject by the diesel   desk states his team driver drugged him and then abandoned him at the truck stop. Subject is conscious and breathing, however required medical attention due to a stomach ache and sore throat.

08:38 CITIZEN REQUESTED ASSISTANCE Occurred on Brentwood Drive, wishing counsel regarding narcotic activity.

09:49 ABANDONED VEHICLE Occurred at Alder Ave/Highland Orchard Parkway, and Peachtree, parked at  location for approximately 2 weeks. Disposition: Checks Ok.

Bear Valley Springs Police Department: No report.

Stallion Springs Police Department: No report.

California Highway Patrol: No report.

WEATHER FORECAST

The National Weather Service in Hanford provides the following forecast for the Tehachapi area:

• This afternoon sunny, with a temperature falling to around 53 by 5pm. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

• Tonight Partly cloudy, with a low around 40. Windy, with a west northwest wind 25 to 30 mph, with gusts as high as 45 mph.

• Wednesday Sunny, with a high near 54. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 15 to 20 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.

• Wednesday night Mostly clear, with a low around 42. West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

• A chance of rain and snow move in by Thursday night with snow level at 4,900 feet. Less of a chance of snow on Friday. Windy and cold through the weekend, but probably dry.
