The latest - Tonight's meeting of the Tehachapi Planning Commission has been cancelled; however the Board of Directors of Tehachapi Valley Healthcare District will hold another special meeting tonight as it continues with work related to the new Tehachapi Hospital construction.

12:27 BURGLARY; INHABITED Occurred at VFW on West Tehachapi Blvd. Service Class: Business/VFW during the night someone attempted to break in.
14:46 COUNTER AT THE POLICE DEPARTMENT Officer initiated activity at Tehachapi Police Department, East “F” St. Disposition: Arrest made on misdemeanor warrant.
15:05 WELFARE CHECK REQUEST Occurred at Rite Aid on Tucker Rd. Elderly male, disoriented and doesn't know how to get home.
15:32 DISTURBING THE PEACE Occurred on Pine Ct. Reporting party’s son was yelling and breaking furniture. Reporting party locked herself in the first bedroom on the left. Disturbing party wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans, no weapons seen. History of violence with the reporting party.
16:29 ANNOYING PHONE CALLS Officer initiated activity at Tehachapi Police Department; East “F” St. Parties were counseled.
01:30 AUTO ACCIDENT - MINOR INJURIES Occurred at Tehachapi Hospital on West “E” St. Solo vehicle accident driver slid off roadway at “C” St. and Pauley. Both driver and passenger walked into the ER with minor injuries.
03:57 WELFARE CHECK REQUEST Occurred on East “E” St. Emergency Communications Center requested to check on nine-year-old. They have received two calls from this residence from a female who stated she was having a possible reaction to her prescriptions.
09:53 THREATS DEATH/BODILY INJURY Occurred at Activity Center on West “D” St. Ongoing dog situation. Disturbing party has threatened to kill the reporting party’s husband in front of their children.
10:56 BURGLARY; INHABITED Occurred on Pepper Dr. Possibly in progress, several subjects in the backyard, female wearing a bun, two males wearing black hoodies, teal sedan.
12:10 WELFARE CHECK REQUEST Occurred on Oakwood St. Reporting party is worried for her 32-year-old sister recently released from KMC is asking for help and is off her psych meds.
12:38 BURGLARY; INHABITED Occurred on Silver Oak Dr Hold up alarm from key pad, Negative contact with homeowner. False Alarm.
13:00 POLICE-911 Occurred at South Dennison and Highline Roads. Not emergent sounding, shuffling, talking heard.
14:03 BURGLARY; INHABITED Occurred at Albertsons on Tucker Rd. See the Reporting party in the office. Subject walked out with a full basket of groceries and left in a black Land Rover.
15:53 KEEP THE PEACE Occurred on Pepper Dr. Property retrieval.
16:03 LOST PROPERTY Occurred on McIntosh St. Transfer from Kern County Sheriff property reported missing from garage. Disposition.
16:12 SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES Occurred on West “E” St. Black male subject has possibly been dealing drugs out of the vehicle. Vehicle has a spoiler and a peace sign sticker. Reporting party was advised by officers to re-contact when the vehicle is seen in the area.
18:17 BURGLARY ALARM Occurred on Michelle Lane. Front door entry and exit.
18:36 FOLLOW UP Officer initiated activity at West “C” and Pauley Streets.
19:20 THREATS DEATH/BODILY INJURY Occurred at Mulberry Villa Apartments on West “E” St. Past occurrence 10 days ago at Walgreen’s, male driver threatened another subject.
20:23 DISTURBING THE PEACE Occurred on Chestnut Ct. Female screaming for help. Male seen going inside the residence. Male drove up in a dark two-tone Ford pickup a second vehicle pulled up to the residence, a dark colored Scion SUV type vehicle. One subject seen running into the residence from the vehicle.
20:45 DISTURBING THE PEACE Occurred on South Curry St. Female trying to break into apartment. The apartment renter was told by officers to call if female returned to apartment. Description unknown.
20:48 DISTURBING THE PEACE Occurred on South Curry St. Approximately three subjects yelling, kicking door and causing a disturbing peace.
22:58 BURGLARY ALARM Occurred on Pepper Dr. Neighbor calling.
00:34 BURGLARY ALARM Occurred at Wine And Cheese Cellar on Tucker Rd., area front door.
06:24 SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES Occurred on North Green St. White van driving around in the area with left tail light out, trying to get into industrial buildings. Two male subjects wearing a hoodie. Ashley Dane Wadkins arrested for under the influence of a controlled substance.
07:27 BURGLARY ALARM Occurred at The Ed Center on South Snyder Ave. Silent burglary alarm had already restored.
08:46 CITIZEN REQUESTED ASSISTANCE Occurred at Tehachapi Police Department on East “F” St. Male subject at Police department reference a restraining order.
11:20 TRESPASSING Occurred at Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott on West Tehachapi Blvd. Guests at the inn have been removed from the hotel and have returned. Request an officer meet with her to assist with situation. Arrest Made.
11:23 VANDALISM AGAINST PERSON OR PROPERTY OF ANOTHER Occurred at Mobile Estates Park on South Dennison Rd. near the storage facility. Reporting party’s vehicle fuel lines were cut and fuel was siphoned.
13:29 BURGLARY; INHABITED Occurred at Tehachapi Airport Industrial Park on North Green St. Additional reporting party from call last night, several pad locks were cut off the storage units. Reporting party is compiling a list of property owners for the units that were tampered with. May be related to call above involving suspicious van.
13:33SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES Occurred at Walgreen’s Drug Store on West Tehachapi Blvd. Gentleman in the Walgreen’s parking lot with a chainsaw running, has turned it off now in the area nearest Tucker.
13:44 SUSPICIOUS PERSON Occurred at Dahlia Boutique on East Tehachapi Blvd. Male subject in the store attempting to get a refund for stolen merchandise Suspect is 5-feet, white male, blue cap, blue shirt now going through garbage at the gas station.
14:48 BURGLARY; INHABITED Occurred on McIntosh St. Two quads were taken from a barn on the rental property sometime last night.
17:08 AUTO ACCIDENT - NO INJURIES/PROPERTY Occurred at Albertsons on Tucker Rd. No injury, door is jammed shut blocking traffic.
00:43 PARKED VEHICLE Officer initiated activity at Monolith St. and East Tehachapi Blvd. Multiple parked semi trucks.
01:08 DISTURBING THE PEACE Occurred on South Pauley St. Disturbance verbal between female and male, disturbing party is outside her bedroom door.
01:15 SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES Occurred on West “J” St. Reporting party hears the dogs barking and sees shadows outside his window, but is not sure if someone is outside. Reporting party wishes no contact.
04:04 EXHIBITING WEAPON Occurred on Santa Maria Dr. A 35-year-old under the influence of drugs with a shotgun. A 14-year-old in the house and mother. Disturbing party is going in and out of the house,.

The meeting of the Tehachapi Planning Commission originally scheduled for tonight has been cancelled.
The Board of Directors of Tehachapi Valley Healthcare District will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. tonight to consider matters related to hospital construction. It will be held at 115 West "E" Street in the Hospital conferance room.
Tuesday night's Tehachapi Airport Commission meeting has been cancelled.
The Bear Valley Community Services District's Communication Committee will meet at 9 a.m. tomorrow at the BVS CSD building. The Infrastructure Committee will meet at 10 a.m.
Tehachapi Unified School District Board of Trustees will meet Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 6 p.m. at the Claude L. Wells Education Center, 300 S. Robinson St. CLICK HERE for agenda.
The Tehachapi Valley Recreation and Parks District's February Board of Director’s meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 19, has been re-scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 5:30 p.m. at the TVRPD office, 490 W. "D" St.
