The Kern County Coroner's Office has released the names of four Oakland residents who died in a single vehicle rollover on Highway 58 a half mile east of Hyundai-Kia Blvd. in California City yesterday afternoon.
According to the office of Sheriff-Coroner Donny Youngblood, all four victims were 19 years old. Their names were Malia Moa, David Moa, Rachel Fisiiahi and George Moa.
According to the news release, George Moa was the operator of a 2004 GMC Yukon and lost control while traveling westbound on Highway 58. The vehicle rolled multiple times, ejecting two of the occupants. All four died at the scene. A fifth occupant was transported to Antelope Valley Hospital and admitted.
