Tehachapi Police Department:

Jan. 22, 2014

10:32 a.m. Vandalism against person or property of another. Occurred at Mulberry Villa Apartments on West "E" Street. Vandalism to playground equipment at the Mulberry Villa apartment. Make contact in the office, "Manager". Disposition: Report taken.

1:35 p.m. Fraud using personal info report. Occurred on Bamboo Court. Reporting person's credit card was used without her permission. Disposition: Report taken.

2:14 p.m. Exhibiting weapon. Occurred on East "I" St. A male subject came to his house with a rifle, upset, claiming reporting person threatened him-. Male subject left down the street toward Green Street in a gold van, unknown make model or plate, dp white male was wearing light blue shirt  white vest and blue jeans. Disposition: Field Interview. NOTE: Subject was located by officers, but the “victim” declined prosecution.

5:08 p.m. Petty theft less than $400. Occurred at The Village Apartments on North Mill Street. Disposition: No further action required.

10:02 p.m. Pedestrian check. Officer initiated activity at Linden Court. Out with two. Disposition: Arrest made.

Jan. 23, 2014

12:25 a.m. Reckless driving. Officer initiated activity at Michael Avenue and South Dennison Road. Just had blue PT Cruiser almost TC into him in the back parking lot- ls eastbound on "F" Street towards Davis Street. Possibly brunette white female driver. Disposition: Arrest made.

1:29 a.m. Defrauding an innkeeper. Occurred at Denny’s on Magellan Drive. Dine and ditch just occurred, male subject exited the restaurant through a rear emergency door. Hispanic male adult in his mid 20's, 5 feet, seven inches tall, heavyset with mustache. He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and black shorts and is on foot down into the ditch/field by the westbound 58 on ramp. Disposition: Report taken.

Bear Valley Springs Police Department:

Jan. 22, 2014

10:30 a.m. Suspicious person. Occurred on Hillside Court. House for sale, male subject has been at the home for over a 1/2 hours. Subject is driving a silver car with dark windows. Disposition: Checks Ok.

2:53 p.m. Receive/etc. known stolen property. Occurred on Cumberland Road. Reporting person thinks that the female he was friends with at one time gave him stolen property three necklaces. Disposition: Report taken.

Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation: Between Jan. 22 and the morning of Jan. 23, the Kern County Sheriff's Department responded to 19 incidents, including a maliicous mischief investigation and peace disturbance investigation in Golden Hills.

Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.

California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.
