Tehachapi Police Department:
TPD reported 24 incidents to which officers responded on Dec. 5, including the following:
7:41 a.m. Auto accident, no injuries/property on East Tehachapi Boulevard/South Robinson Street. Vehicle versus pedestrian, but pedestrian states he is OK. Disposition: Report taken.
9:58 a.m. Hit and run report taken at police station. Disposition: Report taken.
11:33 a.m. Threats of death/bodily injury reported on East "C" Street. Possible threats were from a Tehachapi resident via Facebook. Disposition: Advised.
2:29 p.m. Traffic stop on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Disposition: Arrest made on warrant.
7:05 p.m. Stolen vehicle at Tucker Road. Three subjects on foot headed eastbound. Disposition: Arrest made.
Bear Valley Springs Police Department:
BVSPD reported 16 incidents to which officers responded between Dec. 5 and the morning of Dec. 6, including the following:
1:08 p.m. Theft of mail on Rollingoak Drive. Someone stole package from reporting party's mailbox. Disposition: Information only.
3:47 p.m. Theft of mail on Cumberland Road. Reporting party was expecting a speaker from her mailbox which cost $100 and was taken Dec. 3. Disposition: Report taken.
6:15 p.m. Water Department service on Pinedale Drive. Water is flooding house that is apparently vacant. Water was turned off at the valve. Disposition: No further action required.
8:37 p.m. Theft of mail on Jamaica Dunes Drive. Had note in mailbox to get package and it was not there, checked today. Confirmed delivery with USPS. Disposition: Report taken.
Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation:
Between Dec. 5 and the morning of Dec. 6, the Kern County Sherriff's Department responded to 16 incidents, including a child endangerment investigation at Golden Hills Elementary School, a burglary investigation on Bertram Circle in Kern County, and a stolen vehicle investigation on Highline Road.
Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.
California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.
Today: Sunny, with a high near 38. West northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Tonight: Snow, mainly after 4 a.m. Low around 25. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of less than half an inch possible.
Saturday: Snow showers, mainly before 4 p.m. High near 34. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Saturday night: A 30 percent chance of snow showers before 10 p.m. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 13. Wind chill values as low as zero. Blustery, with a west northwest wind around 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 28. West northwest wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Sunday night: Clear, with a low around 15. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

• The Tehachapi Planning Commission will hold a public meeting to discuss the Walmart project and revised EIR Monday, Dec. 9, at 5:30 p.m. in the Monroe High School gym, 126 S. Snyder Ave. For more information on the issue click HERE.
• The Tehachapi Unified School District Board will hold their monthly meeting Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 6 p.m. at the Claude L. Wells Education Center, 300 S. Robinson St.
• The Bear Valley Springs CSD will hold its monthly meeting Thursday, Dec. 12, at 6 p.m. at the Oak Tree Country Club, 29541 Rolling Oak Dr.
• The next City Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 16, 6 p.m. at the Wells Education Center, 300 S. Robinson St.MOUNTAIN SPORTS THIS WEEK
Boys Basketball – Varsity at Rosamond Tournament this Wednesday through Saturday, Dec. 4-7. Early round games scheduled against Lancaster Baptist (Dec. 4 at 3 p.m.), Burroughs (Dec. 5 at 4:30 p.m.) and Desert-Edwards AFB (Dec. 6 at 4:30 p.m.) at Rosamond HS.
Girls Basketball — Varsity at Golden Valley Tournament this Wed through Saturday, Dec. 4-7. Early round games scheduled against East (Dec. 4 at 2:30 p.m.), West (Dec. 5 at 5:30 p.m.) and Bakersfield (Dec. 6 at 4 p.m.) at Golden Valley HS.
Boys Soccer — Varsity/JV vs. Rosamond next Monday, Dec. 9. Games will start at 6 p.m. (varsity) and 4:30 p.m. (JV).
Wrestling — Varsity at the Rumble for the Rig BHS Driller Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 7. JV at Shafter Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 7.
