Nov. 8, 2013
3:22 a.m. Vehicle repossession at apartments on North Mill Street. Disposition: Report taken.
9:37 a.m. Suspicious circumstances on Water Canyon Road. Something flew into the mountain below Tehachapi peak. Can see smoke coming up. Disposition: Turned over. NOTE: Unfounded.
1:24 p.m. Hit and run/property at business on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Female driver came into parking lot and hit a vehicle; is attempting to leave. Disposition: Arrest made.
3:52 p.m. Petty theft report at Oakwood Street. Package stolen from reporting party's front porch. Disposition: Report taken.
6:24 p.m. Petty theft less than $400 at West Park on West "D" Street. A group of male subjects forcibly took keys away from the reporting party. Victim identified one of the disturbing parties. Disposition: Report taken. NOTE: This case is still under investigation.
Nov. 9, 2013
5:13 p.m. Auto accident, no injuries/property at business on East Tehachapi Boulevard/South Mojave Street. Airbags deployed but no injuries. Disposition: Report taken.
7:22 p.m. Pedestrian check at business on West Tehachapi Boulevard. Disposition: Arrest made.
10:05 p.m. Stolen vehicle report taken at police department. Reporting party's son was jumped last night at West Park. The reporting party's only set of keys to the vehicle were taken so the vehicle was not able to be moved from the parking lot and vehicle is now missing. Reporting party was advised by friend that known subject may be in possession of the vehicle. Disposition: Report taken. NOTE: Investigation is continuing as part of previously reported incident.
Nov. 10, 2013
7:12 a.m. Traffic stop at Valley Boulevard/South Mill Street. Disposition: Arrest made.
5:23 p.m. Assault report at apartments on North Mill Street. While reporting party was at car wash, a male adult came over and slapped the reporting party's buttocks. Reporting party had never seen the male before. Disposition: Assignment completed.
10:58 p.m. Suspicious circumstances on Clearview Street. Yelling heard in the vacant lot behind the reporting party's house. Subjects heard cursing and telling someone to get on their knees. Subjects got in a white truck and headed southbound. Disposition: Arrest made. NOTE: A 17-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public and a minor in possession of tobacco.

12:50 a.m. Pedestrian check at North Curry Street/West "H" Street. Disposition: Arrest made.
8:12 p.m. Pedestrian check on West "J" Street. Disposition: Arrest made.
8:37 p.m. Auto accident with no injuries/property at East Tehachapi Boulevard/South Mojave Street. Disposition: Report taken.
Bear Valley Springs Police Department:
Nov. 11, 2013
9:33 a.m. Petty theft less than $400 at business on Rollingoak Drive. Wooden box with a lock contained $20. Disposition: Report taken.
9:40 a.m. Animal call on Rollingoak Drive. Pigs have done some damage at reporting party's residence. Disposition: Information only.
10:57 a.m. Traffic hazard at Banducci Road/Pellisier Road. Horrible dust storm possibly caused by farm equipment. Disposition: Turned over.
12:49 p.m. Major traffic accident at Paramount Drive/Deertrail Drive. Propane truck rolled over on its side; man is bleeding from his mouth and there is a hazmat propane spillage. Disposition: Report taken.
8:08 p.m. Hazardous material reported at North Lower Valley Road/Bear Valley Road. Reporting party states she smells gas or sewage near fire department. Capt. Anderson at Station 16 said it is the propane truck that was involved in the accident. They are transferring propane from one truck to another. Will be ongoing for another hour or so. Disposition: Information only.Kern County Sheriff Tehachapi Substation:
Between Nov. 11 and the morning of Nov. 12, the Kern County Sheriff's Department reported nine incidents, including including an annoying phone calls investigation on Belmont Drive in Golden Hills.
Stallion Springs Police Department: Nothing reported.
California Highway Patrol: Nothing reported.
WEATHER FORECASTThis afternoon: Partly sunny, with a high near 72. East southeast wind 10 to 15 mph.
Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 39. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 71. East southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.
Tuesday night: Clear, with a low around 38. West wind around 10 mph.
The remainder of the work week looks much the same, with winds picking up on Friday to as much as 25 mph.

• The Tehachapi Planning Commission has canceled its November meeting.
• Although the next scheduled meeting for the Tehachapi Airport Commission is Tuesday, Nov. 12, no agenda has been distributed and neither has a notice of adjournment.
• Tehachapi Unified School District board's next scheduled meeting is Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the Claude L. Wells Education Center, 300 S. Robinson St.
