A domestic violence charge has been dropped for a Tehachapi woman who was arrested by Kern County Sheriffs deputies on Friday, Jan. 24.
Kelly Molloy-McDaniel was arrested around 1:40 a.m. and charged with inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant.
Sgt. Doug Wilson with the KCSO said there was insufficient evidence for prosecutors with the District Attorney's office to pursue the case.
Wilson added that there no witnesses to the incident, and that the injuries on the alleged victim that were believed to have been inflicted by Molloy-McDaniel had been sustained days prior to deputies responding to the scene.
