The Tehachapi Police Department arrested seven people on suspected misdemeanors and eight people on a suspected felonies during the week of Nov. 5-11.
The felony arrests the department listed on a weekly report were for violation of post-release community supervision, possession of metal knuckles and willful cruelty to a child. The department did not reveal the nature of the other five suspected felonies because they involved juveniles.
A total of 272 incidents were handled by Tehachapi Police officers, including 157 calls for service from the public and 115 officer-initiated incidents.
Officers wrote a total of 22 reports.
Other stats that show the work officers performed for the week: They handled 19 business or building checks and 11 checks on vehicles or pedestrians.
