Wedding couples have helped make Rose Garden Estate one of the top picks in Kern County, and now the venue has been awarded the 2018 Best of Weddings award by theknot.com.
The website assists with planning everything a bride and groom need, from finding the perfect location to picking the photographer.
“We are crazy happy that this award shows we are doing the right thing and excited to make people happy," said Lorie Weinroth, owner of Rose Garden Estate on Bear Valley Road. "It’s the right thing to do and I guess the couples agree."
Weinroth said Rose Garden Estate features a custom venue where couples can enjoy first-class services including a mountain view with a 5,000-square-foot barn, Victorian-style wedding space, custom bridal suites with Jacuzzi, linens, place settings, catering and even a pastor. A fountain with lighting can be matched to the main color of the wedding.
Since they have been named in the 2018 Best of Wedding venue picks, Weinroth said, couples from all over the state have booked the venue for their special event. The amenities included are a fraction of the price compared to other venues in other parts of the state, Weinroth said.
Many guests, in addition to wedding couples, have commented on the location and service provided.
Leslie Geissel, whose son was married at Rose Garden Estate, said, “We want to congratulate Paul and Lorie from Rose Garden Estate. We saw on the news last night that their venue won Best of Weddings for 2018. That is awesome. So blessed to have been able to have our son and daughter-in-law's wonderful wedding at their venue.”
According to a news release from theknot.com, only 3 percent of 300,000 local wedding professionals listed on the website have received this award. This is also the twelfth year these awards have been given and to determine the winners, theknot.com looked at reviews by customers and determined who is a top wedding professional and why future couples should book the venue.
