Have some free time?  Want to make a difference in your community?  Please consider helping us Save Tehachapi's Orphaned Pets!

STOP is looking for dedicated volunteers to assist with various fundraising projects, providing foster homes for pets, working with the pets (especially dogs) and the public at adoption events, assisting with marketing, promotion and public relations, and much more.

If you live in the Tehachapi area, please consider giving a few hours per month to STOP.  We have NO animal shelter facilities in our community, and our homeless pets rely on the kindless of private rescues and volunteers for food and care.  Please help us Save Tehachapi's Orphaned Pets!

I have a lot of free time as a college student on summer vacation. I would be more than willing to donate some.
Foster families are always needed by our local rescues -- for all types of animals. If you would like to volunteer, please call Canine Creek any day between 10am and 6pm. Just tell the staff you want be put on the foster list, provide your name and phone number. They will pass along your info to the local pet organizations who may need your assistance. Our shop number is 822-0307. Thank you for asking! Susie
Do you ever need fosters for birds, reptiles & small mammals?
What a wonderful surprise; we would LOVE to meet your daughter and welcome her as a STOP volunteer; please call 823-4100 and leave a message and someone will contact you, immediately. Thanks again and the furry friends who have no voice also thank you. Marsha D.
My daughter is interested in volunteering, she was in the ferrel cat rescue program in Los Angeles Catch Trap Release. She is 17 years old. I feel if we work hard to implement a catch trap release program quickly we could have the ferrel cats in Tehachapi under tight control. Please feel free to contact me at this web address. Thank you for being a voice for the voiceless angels.

The newly formed STOP organization is an extremely worthile and necessary cause; hopefully those who are reading the TN will also agree and participate in this wonderful community based program.
