Tehachapi Valley Gem & Mineral Society
Join us at our monthly meeting of the TVG&MS. We are a group of your friends and neighbors who enjoy learning and teaching about gems and minerals, the art of jewelry making, practicing lapidary and field trips to the nearby deserts and mountains. We will report on our recent trip to the Kramer mining district and the Kramer Junction area. Specimens of red Agate, pistachio colored Opalite and petrified Reed specimens from that trip will be displayed. John Bank, renowned Bear Valley Silversmith will display his art and show us the techniques he uses to create beautiful jewelry.  Other Gems, Minerals and Fossils will be displayed with some being auctioned. You can buy unique donated rocks from our "Buck A Rock" box. Guests will draw for door prizes. We meet at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 3 at T.A.P.A. dance studio 48771 Valley Blvd. (just east of Tucker).
