Warrior Cagers win Scrimmage
Although shorthanded due to a handful of players still suited up on the football gridiron, Mountain Basketball was still able to muster a double-digit victory in scrimmage action over McFarland last Wednesday. The Braves also took a win in double-digits, led by the strong play of Nick Phillips and Nick Buttcane.

Tehachapi will be on the road against Paraclete-Lancaster this Monday and continue on with participation the Rosamond Roadrunner Classic on Wednesday through Friday. The game on Monday against Paraclete will be at 4 p.m. (frosh), 5:30 p.m. (jayvee), and 7 p.m. (varsity).

The Warriors will open up the Roadrunner Classic with a game against Antelope Valley Christian on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. in the Rosamond High gym.

Lady Warrior Basketball
Tehachapi will have their first home game of the season this Monday against Highland-Palmdale, with the junior varsity to tip-off at 4 p.m. and the varsity 5:30 p.m.

The Lady Warriors and Braves will have another home contest against Lancaster High next Tuesday, with junior varsity starting at 5 p.m. and the varsity 6:30 p.m.
Next week will also mark the start of the Tiny Hill Classic Tourney, where Tehachapi will face off with Golden West (3:45 p.m.) and Wasco (6:15 p.m.) next Wednesday and Porterville (3:45 p.m.) and Cesar Chavez (6:15 p.m.) next Thursday in Porterville.
