The Bear Valley Springs Cultural Art Association is very proud to announce a very exciting St. Patrick’s Day program at the Oak Tree Country Club, 29541 Rollingoak Drive, on Sunday, March 15, at 2:30 p.m.

Internationally known fiddler Maury Richmond will give a performance to remember! Debbie Hand will serve as guitar back-up for the performance.

Maury Richmond has been playing violin since he was 8 years old. First he received classical training growing up in Hawaii and then at San Jose State University.

Since “crossing over” to fiddle playing, he has studied with some of the best. Maury can be found fiddling at various folk festivals, Renaissance Faires, and Highland Games throughout the Western U.S. He has performed with Golden Bough, Celtic Blue and most recently with Paint a Rose with Debbie Hand. He toured Scotland with the Colin Gordon Band and this past summer performed for seven days at a Basque music festival in the Pyrenees in Spain. He also gives classical and Celtic concerts throughout the provinces.

He has collaborated and performed on three CDs, two with Paint a Rose and one with folk singer Heloise Love.

Bring the whole family as this will be a special family event.

Admission available at the door.  $5 for Cultural Arts members, $8 for non-members, and $3 for children under 12. Refreshments will be served.

To make reservations, call Jae McIntyre at 821-0757 or mail check to BVS Cultural Arts Association, 25101 Bear Valley Rd., P.M.B. 106, Tehachapi, CA 93561. For gate pass call Jan Alford at 821-1533.
