Honda supports depot with donation

In a goodwill gesture, Albeir Rechied of Tehachapi Liquor  recently presented a $500 check to Friends of the Tehachapi Depot.  The donation was funded by W. A. Thompson Co., Inc. of Bakersfield and was gratefully accepted by Georgia Cushman and Fred Motter.  The money will be used for the completion of the Tehachapi Depot Museum together with other “Back on Track” funds.

On March 23, Honda presented a check for $500 to the Friends of Tehachapi Depot.  The check was a result of community interest shown by the CantilProvingCenter a facility of Honda R&D America.  Dan Foster of Honda presented the check to Fred Motter, president of Friends of Tehachapi Depot.  Also present were FOTD vice president Nick Smirnoff and his wife Catherine, Georgia Cushman Ways, and Means Chairman and her husband David. 

The FOTD wishes to express its gratitude for the support shown to the community by these donation. The money will be used for the completion of the TehachapiDepotMuseum together with other “Back on Track” funds.
