The Warrior Reports: Deanna Doran, professional costume designer to the stars

Tehachapi High School journalism students provided live Career Fair news coverage as part of the Tehachapi News Interactive Student Journalism Project.


Deanna Doran is a retired a professional costumer who has designed for many major Hollywood productions including the first two years of “Murder She Wrote,” “Forever Young” starring Mel Gibson, and countless western-themed television shows.

She currently lives in Bear Valley Springs with one dog, named Usa. Doran said when she decided to move to Tehachapi, she had heard about it from a friend and thought it was a beautiful, nice place to live.
