Leighton Joseph Ledesma deployed to Iraq

Leighton Joseph Ledesma, son of Mr. and Mrs. Juan Ledesma of Tehachapi, was deployed on March 30 from March Air Force Base for Iraq.

Leighton graduated from Tehachapi High School in 2004, entered the military on Sept. 22, 2004 in Great Lakes Ill., and graduated from field medical service school in Camp Jejune, N.C. in December of 2006.

Leighton was stationed at the Naval Hospital in Greak Lakes from December 2007 to March 2008. Ledesma is attached to [[Golf Company 2nd Plt. 2/23rd 4th Marines Division]] where he is one of the three medical corpsman to 45 Marines.
