Recently Carden School held its annual Science Fair and Invention Convention. The judging was held in the multipurpose room on Wednesday, April 29, and the awards were presented the next evening at Open House.
The Science Fair winners:
Best Overall: Sixth-grade Magneto Morgan for his project, "Strobe Shot."
Fifth grade:
First place: Jake Walters
Second place: Blake Bowen
Third place: Tommy Mace-Rodon.
Sixth grade:
First place: Danny Banks
Second place: Zach Wagner
Third place: Tim Chulyak.
The Invention Convention winners:
Best Overall: Sixth-grade Cole Quarles-Papasergia for his invention of the E-Z Ripper.
Seventh grade:
First place: Tracee Schmitt
Second place: Anthony Dornay
Third place: Rudy Vasquez.
Eighth grade:
First place: Joseph Singer
Second place: John Canizo
Third place: Tori Alexander
Several people generously gave their time and expertise to be judges for this event.
