Pat James’ California Dreamin' to show at Gallery ‘N’ Gifts

The July Gallery  ‘N’ Gifts Guest Artist gallery show  will feature Pat
James and her “California Dreamin’” suite of pictures.

Pat, well known among our local Tehachapi art circles, will present her
current series  which celebrates the joy of family, place and life in
general.

Pat is a prolific artist and is mostly  known for her event poster art and
advertising campaign pieces while in reality, she has extensive experience
in a wide variety of subjects and media. Painting predominantly in
watercolor, more recently she has become equally well known for her
vibrant acrylic paintings.  This show allows us to share in her past year’s
activities of painting California.

After many years of raising a family, Pat now enjoys living part-time at
the Central Coast and the nearby mountain community of Bear Valley Springs
with Ron, her husband of 40 years.

Pat’s work is obviously inspired by both the coastal and mountain
influences. Her work has been shown in local galleries and businesses. She
is a founding member of the Watercolor Enthusiasts of Tehachapi (we're painting W.E.T.) and the  Artful Four.  Check her out on the Artful Four web site http://www.artfulfour.com/. Pat also loves to meet on occasion with others to paint plein air, and they are open to others to join in the fun. She stated that if enough are interested then perhaps a more structured group could be formed.
