Timothy Jim Waldrum went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2009. Tim was born August 14, 1977 to Joel and Ruthie in Bakersfield, the year that Star Wars first came out. He attended and graduated from the McFarland Schools and Bakersfield College. He worked as a human resources clerk for Goodwill Industries. He really loved his job. His passion was anything Star Wars. He collected all the memorabilia and had a Jedi costume that he wore to openings for the new Star Wars movies, 30th Anniversary of Star Wars and Comic-con conventions.
Tim was a kind, gentle soul who always made people smile. His love of life was best illustrated by his passion in cooking or baking his favorite oreole cheese cake. He also loved to tease his mother about her cooking because he knew he was the better cook.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joel Waldrum, grandparents, Gene and Lois Waldrum and uncle, Lanie Burgett. He is survived by his parents Ruthie and Ed Grimes, brothers Gene Waldrum, Mark Reabold, Mike Grimes, Ryan Grimes and Jason Grimes, sisters Tauna Mills and Annette Reabold and Shelly Sottile.
