I wish to thank the members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars who put out the flags on Sunday last; or "Flag Day." Flags were placed from Albertson's Supermarket to Circle K. Most of the flags were placed along Tehachapi Boulevard and streets around the downtown area. Placing flags were three "swabbies", one "airedale" and a "doughface" or, more politely; three from the U.S. Navy, one from the U.S. Air Force, and another from the U.S. Army. They know who they were and their motive was Patriotism; something taken seriously here in Tehachapi. Thanks guys.
