Ride rolls through Tehachapi

Hundreds of Veterans Mountain Run riders took off at 10 a.m. from the Tehachapi Airport for the poker run to Cal City, Lake Isabella, Walker Basin, Keene and an optional escorted ride through the Bakersfield National Cemetery. The Mountain Run has earned money for six years for a Memorial Walk at the cemetery and it is the first time many of the riders will see what they have been working on.

This is all we get here in the news? This was so much more than 2 sentences on a back page in the paper. For 6 years this ride has been donating to the development of the Bakersfield National Cemetery, every year it gets bigger, better and should be recognized for the good it does for the cemetery and our community.
